- DEEPLANDERS is a chilled out minimalist strategy game where we have to build homes for some very picky people indeed. Some want to live alone, some want to cohabit, others want to be near facilities, others want no neighbours, and many want complicated combinations of the above!
On each beautiful level we have to place down buildings to meet the demands of the Deeplanders and get them all happy and housed, which is easier said than done. If we succeed we're treated to a nice cosmetic item, like a tree or a fountain, and then we move onto another level.
However, as we get deeper into the game we meet people who want to live on different levels to the one we're on, so we have to move back and forth between our completed levels and rearrange things a little bit to keep everyone happy!
The art style is particularly gorgeous, with a sort of comic-gothic Tim Burton-esque aesthetic to it, and the Deeplanders themselves are wonderful little silhouetted characters with glowing eyes.

DEEPLANDERS is a relaxing, minimalist strategic building game where you must satisfy the needs of the Deeplanders to populate the depths. Explore, build, and decorate your own underground kingdom... and when you're ready, embark on a journey to new, unexplored depths!
These charming characters, the Deeplanders, are eager to colonize the underground realms, but you'll have to satisfy their needs if you want them to keep coming. And not everyone wants the same things, so keeping them all happy won't be easy!
As you build and expand your community, you’ll unlock new areas. Each depth is completed with the arrival of a new King, at which point you can either focus on decorating the surroundings or simply enjoy watching the Deeplanders live their lives.
Conquer each level and get ready to dig even deeper!
In DEEPLANDERS you can:
Build, populate, and decorate incredible underground landscapes.
Play at your own pace, without time pressure.
Feel like a god creating underground communities. :)
Feel like a servant to the demands of the inhabitants. :(
Relax while watching the Deeplanders enjoy life.
DEEPLANDERS does NOT offer:
Leaderboards! There are no points to compete for.
Defeats… here you just play, and as you satisfy the Deeplanders, you advance.
Huge battles… no one dies here!
Mining simulation.
Resource management or microtransactions to get them.
Local or online multiplayer.

Penge! Some of the deeplanders who didnt want a neighbor didnt mind a companion and vice versa! You were making it much harder on yourself than you needed to the entire time in classic Geek Cupboard fashion! Haha
Ironic given how this is the second thing the game teaches you.
For a game about lost souls who were banished for the simple sin of having preferences, this is surprisingly adorable and compassionate.

- This actually seems like a pretty decent game, could be a fairly good purchase, I think overall this one is a winner, fun little management game interesting theme.

Deer Geek, you are speaking too much in begining and ending of every game videos and during the games you are trying to explain everything.. for your own sake dont do that. From an engineer
