- updated the devil in the new dress remake. some of y’all told me the drums weren’t great so I changed them, hopefully it sounds better now. I also added distortion to the vocal sample (ps got copyright again)
also thanks so much for the crazy support. for the past few days, I’ve just been looking at yt studio and the support is amazing. Im just shocked at the numbers I’m getting rn. thanks y’all ❤️
If you want, you can pitch the main Snares down a little bit, they sound a little bright. Also layer the strings with the a feint grand piano. I think it’s pretty accurate so far though, good job!
There’s a snare on the drum “dust bowl” that sounds almost exactly like the original song, I used it while recreating the song too

The snare on Dust Bowl off of the Beat Tape pack is more accurate imo
try using the dust bowl snare it’s much more accurate lol

the vocal sample doesn't sound quite clear enough? it might have the tiniest bit of bitcrushing in the original song
not quite sure if it’s bitcrushing or just the sample clipping due to heavy distortion. ill have to experiment with different effects
you should do pursuit of happiness/day n nite or really any kid cudi song, they seem interesting with the instrumentals
some reverb on the snare would help

yea sorry, I tried to remake it, but it’s takes a lot of effort to try to recreate a live guitar with sub par GarageBand presets. maybe in the future I’ll try to do it
