nah cuz if i was a capital citizen, i would be dying at lucky’s comments 😭
If you’re in the districts you’d also be dying … but not of laughter
The fact the high chair is for a baby Caesar flickerman has me dying laughing XD
Dang and imagine he was alive for the 74th hunger games? That makes him like, what, 60 something then, in the first book?
I thought it was for Dean Casca Highbottom 😭
"And smile, it's why we have teeth"
And caesar took that personally.
Just a son following up on his father's wise words
“talk less, smile more”
- lucky as a father probably
@@lavscapcut I see what you did there
@@oncerand_directioner Lucretius is the GOAT!
It's such perfectly balanced line between innocent and absolutely horrific...
“And who do we have here? Ah! It’s Ill Dill. Tuberculosis on legs.”
Ohmygosh I can’t 😭😭😭
That line took me all the way out in the theater 😆
That one was below the belt. But again, it's The Hunger Games universe, what can you expect? Pretty euphemisms, blissfully ignorant, immature and selective narratives, utopian universes, last minute savior plot for everybody and fairytale endings? You have Disney for that.
I love how in the books Pup Harrington would not shut up about Lamina and how amazing she was to the point that Snow was glad when Lamina died but in the movie he’s just “yeah” 😆
Hahaha he was in such denial in the book. When they ambushed her on the beam he’s like “yeh she’s gonna be fine…she’s gonna be fine…she’s gonna be… AHHHHHHHHHHH 😡😡😡😡😡”
@@davidfairweather3301pup looked ready to punch lucky after lamina died
Tuberculosis on legs is crazy
“Wouldn’t it be funny if it was candy?” 😁
“….Not candy!”
So unserious!! 😂😂😂
this man really brought the comedy out of the movie, my favorite character really
Thank god for Lucky Flickerman actually - this movie is dark and really cruel, so I was very glad to have his comments I could laugh at...
the flickermans are so iconic
no because when he said all colors lead to gray he knew he ate that up
I saw this last week I’d low key watch a movie where he’s hosting the show as the hunger games evolves
And we could see him possibly training his son Cesear and how Cesear eventually takes over as host for Lucky
Seems like Flickerman and Willy Wonka could be cousins. 😂😂
One of my favorite things they added in the movie was Lucky always beefing with Festus
Why was he beefing with him?
The man who needs no introduction...proceeds to overly introduce himself
didn't know this before but the quarter quell must've really struck a nerve with snow when they all held hands
The movie was too short, we needed more of him 😤
The movie was actually going to be 4 hours but it was cut. There’s a 4 hour cut version that I’m hoping will be released.
I was surprised his character didn’t get more love from internet, I loved every time he was on screen. “Not candy!” Had me loling in the theater
I can't believe they missed the chance to put his joke from the book about the coriolanus snow in district 12 while coryo: 👍 and laughed awkwardly
What was the joke?
@@agustinagreco5387it was about how one of the districts would snow (he was a weatherman, after all) and then they closed up on Coriolanus.
@@martina6700 Oh my god, this would've been hilarious
"when your tribute dies get out of here" made me laugh wayyyyy more than I should have
I saw a reaction video of the movie where someone kept calling him “Wendy Williams” and every since the comparison was made I can’t unhear it😭😭
"Don't laugh not everyone in the districts have televisions" 😂
no because ill dill was FFFOOOOUULLLL 😭
the casting was so perfect
“Wouldn’t it be funny if it was candy…”😁🙊
*box explodes with snakes that munch on Wovey*
…”NOT CANDY…down goes Wovey”
I feel like the amount of tactfull vs tactless comments is exactly balanced.
Tactfull: don’t laugh, not everyone has a tv out in the districts.
Tactless: how wonderful is this night that we get to be here for someone’s final performance.
I had to admit Jason Schwartzmans performance as a ansestor to Ceaser Flickerman is really good.
His father.
This actor did amazing... the Flickerman’s have a presenter’s gene in the family! 😂💜
Down goes wovey 💀💀
Fr I gasped when I heard that 😭
he made everything so unserious 😅 so out of pocket
He's so cringey, it’s so good, I love it!! 😂 exactly like he is described in the book, so well casted!
giggling and kicking my feet for this man
Lucky never catches the second coin he tosses, I think it would have been a pretty funny post credits scene if it had lucky suddenly remember it and then catch it
TURBOCOLOSIS ON LEGSSSS
He was honestly my favorite character
4:46 it looks like its steaming in the arena with that sizzling noise
They did not gave racheal zeglar a chance to prove hersellf. They just bullied her from day one.
5:01 that proud look on his face..
Let's be honest for a second, people... we all know that we need a movie or at least a short film about this icon and his family. His humor and how he describes such things were the best parts of this film.
Him having to constantly tell festus to sit 😂😭
"Get me a drink. Get me a drink right now!" 🤣😭
I LOVE THIS ACTOR RRRAAAHHHHHHH I LOVE JASON SCHWARTZMAN
He was the best part of the movie 😂
i was waiting for the movie to go digital specifically so someone could make this
Im dying cuz the camera man is laughing at someone asking whos flickerman? Lol 😆 🤣 😂
I LOVE HIM SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO
Jason Schwartzman didn’t need to prepare for the role, he’s sooo good at being himself 😂
2023 was truly Jason Schwartzman's year!
YES THIS WAS WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR
THANK YOU
The Wii music fits this video so well lol
jason was perfectly cast
Aside from Davis and Dinklage he was easily my favorite part of the movie, everything slowed down when none of those three were on screen(not disrespect to Blyth or Zegler their performances were phenomenal, I blame the editing and the title)
Best character!
I have a theory, you know during the reservation thing he says “and a high-chair” well who would that be for other than CEASER FLICKERMAN HIMSELF
Man I didn’t know Gideon had a side career
do one for Snow too! i keep searching for it just for a good laugh but oh boy i don't see any😢
Smile, it why we have teeth
Greatest fictional character of all time
Dude was a savage
Oh what I would have given to have been an extra in this movie.
This is just Jimmy Fallon
He was once a final boss from a game where you fight your gf's 7 exes.
I understood that reference
Why the heck did they revert to ’60s technology in this film?
Because it takes place only a few years after a devastating war
@@mbader2399 That doesn’t mean that technology would downgrade so far. The global level of technology not only didn’t revert but significantly improved after both World Wars.
@@georgeofhamiltonI mean, in the book, the whole country was in a bad state- basically the gist was they had no money to fix or maintain anything.
Also, it works as a good visual shorthand to the audience that this is taking place much earlier than the main Hunger Games movies- gives each era its own distinct look.
Because this takes place roughly 300 years in the future where at some point earth had suffered an ecological disaster that caused every government in the world to collapse and set humanity back by at least a century, also I wouldn't say it's all 60's technology, I'd say it's more retro futuristic.
Cause it’s set in the past? Like what?
He made the movie. Without him the movie would be a -12
