I just noticed that, too! I was actually playing 3D Land earlier today, so when the Galaxy version came up on this video, I immediately noticed the difference. And it’s not just compression, either. The main notes end more abruptly in 3D Land compared to Galaxy. The one from Galaxy was included in its fully-orchestrated CD release of the OST, while 3D Land is purely midi. “Waltz of the Boos” has a similar difference between Galaxy and 3D Land.
@@TsalagiRailfan Its recomposed or resequenced and the samples are a bit compressed if my ear dont fail me. The waltz is another thing, the original is orchestra + synths and the 3D Land one is re composed with synths
I think 3D Land (because I play it a lot) and the original SMB3 version are my favorites. The original syncs PERFECTLY with the “course clear” theme in the original, which neither the All Stars remake, nor the GBA remake can capture.
DK: Cool racoon suit!
Mario: Really?
DK: Not at all!
Luigi: why are you dressed like a bear!?
A good song to drive my car too.

After its use in 3D Land and the Mario Movie (not to mention its game of origin), I consider this to be the unofficial tanooki theme.
Childhood memorys
Youth memorys
"Old" men memorys.
I just noticed SMG's one and SM3DL's one sounds slightly different, I thought it was the same on both games

The super mario all stars version will always be my favorite. There was more color in the graphics and sounded better than the nes original.
