We are in the process of setting up a Glass Frog tank. Been watching every YT vid and they have been extremely helpful so thanks for posting. Successfully kept other frog species and hopefully some of that experience transfers over to these little gummies.

Hi! Idk if you'll see this. I just have a question. Do you think it would be ok to keep one in a similar sized habitat as the one you had her in at first? Or would an upgrade need to happen? Thanks for reading if you did 🙂
Thank you for your question! From talking with other keepers and watching their behaviour I would recommend the upgraded version of their habitat over the old one. If you have just one you could probably use a 12x12x12 habitat for something just slightly smaller

@@RedsFaunaverse thank you then I'm doing well i give them at night there food I haven't really seen them eating yet, they may do it when it's dark in my room as the light go off at evening or when I'm sleeping I've have seen stools so it should be ok they are 8 months old and still a bit shy need some time to get used to and get into the routine for the rest they are doing great and are active at night
@@RedsFaunaverse ahh im really interesting in getting some but the sound is the only thing im worried about my bf works with dart frogs and warned me abt it but i feel these sound less intense than dart frogs
would highly recommend culturing your own fruit flies, hydei best for glass frogs of course :) , I made a guide on it on word and can email over if you would like. Great vid !

What vitamins and supplements do you recommend dusting the feeders with?
I rotate between calcium without D3 (I’ll give them with D3 only once in a while because I have UVB for them), vitamin A and a multivitamin currently.
are they loud? can you sleep trough their sound?
Some people might find it irritating but I find I can sleep just fine with their noise. It is a rather loud high pitched peep tho.

Can I keep them in same tank as domino roaches ??
I am not familiar with domino roaches unfortunately but looking at their size I want to say no to be on the safe side.

Oh ya it was broke, that temperature would be fatal if that was real. I got new ones :)
what would be the best way to heat the tank?
This species doesn’t like it too warm so no heating is really needed as they prefere it between 70f-80f and no warmer.

I do like to culture my own fruit flies, does help! :) Sometimes I’m lazy and will just buy a fresh culture tho haha
