I agree , and they never had check engine lights coming on every other week , causing you to to fix all the puzzle pieces that keep it running correctly !

i got a 79 short box 4x4 full option truck with under 35,000 miles on it in mint condition from factory for free with 2 old camero's and a bunch of running motors 2 were 454 strokers with low miles on them and a 4 bolt 327 built fresh plus a bunch of cars out side the shop all for free

Silly that anyone would call all the 70's and 80's Chevrolet trucks 'squarebodys'. The squarebody Chevy/GMC was made from 1973 to 1979 ONLY. The 1980 to 1987 GM trucks were not squarebodys. Whomever is spreading this misinformation is the worst. Probably someone who never had a 70's or 80's GM truck in the 70's or 80's. I certainly did and knew exactly what a 'squarebody' was.
