I'm really glad to have seen your video because just got the Holo one and just love the look but don't have a converter. So glad to see that I could possibly use some of my Lamy ones. New subbie!
I got one as a gift; I do not like or dislike the appearance, but I can say that it is very comfortable, even writing for many hours. Converters for this pen really are a problem. Thanks for the video.
I find the nib on the broad side of medium, and quite wet, I like it. The problem is the interpretation of 'standard international' by Pelikan, I haven't found the right converter for this pen and even some cartridges have problem fitting, I had to use only refilled Pelikan cartridges, long and short.
If you like these lighter greens, you might like Iroshizuku Chiku-Rin: definitely one of my favourites - it’s also quite well behaved, not too wet(for those of us with small handwriting):)
i guess im randomly asking but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any help you can give me
@Maverick Hamza thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Excellent pen. However.... Remember that here in Europe they cost about 7 to 10 euros.( About the same as a pelikan converter). Also remember that here cartridges are cheaper than bottled in - around 3 euros ( less than 4 dollars) for a glass jar of 100 and that's for off brand Pelikan manufactured cartridges... I find these Pelikan nibs to be smoother than lamy z50 nibs and the whole pen costs about the same...
Great comparison. So you're saying that Lamy converters fit in the Pelikan Twist? But can the Twist actually take nibs from Lamy Safari? Upd: got my Twist in matte black, the grip is really nice, haven't tried nib swapping yet, but the stock one writes *thicc* and I'm not sure that's what I need. As for the converter, I had to put the piston all the way down and then clip off half of the red knob for it to prevent self-turning. That's fine as I'm not gonna use that converter in any other pen anyway. One last thing - it seems to be too long when posted.
Very nice review, starting with how you describe things in a way that feels like you're telling a story. You also have a great voice. It would be just lovely if you could also work on your penmanship a bit. 😊
I thought the review was really not good. It makes you wonder why the presenter had difficulties deciphering the top and bottom of the pen. When he was going over the geometry of the pen I thought that it was totally unnecessary. The attention on the ink was silly.
I appreciated the details about how misleading it could be to figure out where the nib was...unless you check inside the ends...as...looks like the opening is not near the nib...more in the middle...and now I know that KEY LIME PIE ..SHOULD NOT be green like this ink with it's name....interesting to me
This was more educational than I expected. Thank you.
I really appreciated the focus on design and the comparison to the Kakuno and Shooting Star.

I've got it It's a nice one!
I actually really like student pens as pocket pens. This seems a little chunky, but could be fun.

Have one in pink. It's a very nice writer.

Nice! Just ordered a bunch of pens, can't wait to get them on monday-wednesday
Oh speaking of, you're fuelling my pen addiction, please stop. (obviously just kidding, but thank you for making such informative videos!)
A better name for that ink would be Granny Smith Apple.
Are you sure that's neon green? It seems more lime green or a neon yellow....

Hoping you can review Lamy 2000 next!
I have
@@WhatIInk oh? Ah I'm silly haha
Very nice fun pen🥰
Like the pen, the colour is hideous😟 the ink is spot on for this pen though👍
Can you eyedrop this one ?
No. Holes in the barrel end.
@@WhatIInk Thanx
How often do you reply to comments, Alan?
Only when I have something meaningful to add to the discussion.
Perfect pen for fans of Mazda rotary engines lol
