Thanks for this review. Long time lover of this pen too. Little tip ( which you might already know) You actually can reuse used cartridges once empty by filling them with a siringe from an ink bottle . Let's do our part in this heating world! :)
Penmanship is one way how I discern if someone cares about himself same as taking care of one shoes. If you have a nice writing it shows you put work, importance and desire to improve yourself. And people will have higher regards toward you. It doesn't mean one should be a calligraphist. That is a true art by itself. Pelikan have very good and cheapest entry level fountain pens if one wants to start out learning penmanship. BTW once you are into it your signature will improve. Some have impressive signatures that stand out. Small tip: use dark green ink for writing a personal letter. It makes you very special and the receiver will cherish the letter even more. Cheers.
I own a Kanwrite Heritage pen from "Kanpur writers" Indian brand in an orange black medium nib.. they are known for their great nibs internationally... One can order a wide variety of nibs separately from their website. Worth trying, personally for me they write better than Pilot metropolitan.... although it will cost extra bucks if we are importing...
I have a Pelikan m400 that I love. I probably use my Sailor the most though. I have used cheap Chinese fountain pens for years and really even cheap fountain pens look elegant and make my scribble look more distinguished.
A splendid article. I have one of these on the desk, but my day to day pen is an Osmiroid 35 that belonged to my father in law. He would have approved of your channel.
One might also add that it is also suitable for left-handers. Despite its price it would not attract me all that much due to its design. I prefer more traditional fountain pens.
v A really good and informative video. I have Montblanc Meisterstück which I use for signing important documents in the house but I invariably use a Pilot V-Pen, which are inexpensive and disposable (but recyclable) or a slightly more expensive Lamy Safari. Both the Pilot and the Lamy give consistent and smooth ink delivery.
I love the Lamy Al Star (which will be my next and final pen review of this series). Although, I recently bought a TWSBI Swipe and it is a great little performer. I use Pilot V Pens too.
Pens can definitely become a rabbit hole!
So I'm finding!!
I'm also falling into the ink rabbit hole.......

Every kid in germany had a Pelikan in school.

I totally agree, it is all part of the overall package of a true chap.

Hello Ash, that is a nice looking pen, specially the price. The triangular shape is certainly different. Thank you for the video.
You should take a look at Kaweco pens - they have a more classical style within different price ranges.
I do have a Kaweco Sport (fountain pen and ballpoint). I love them dearly - I may do a video on them in due course.

I got a Montblanc from M. of Bath and had it engraved with my name (I don't use it enough, really.)
I’ve yet to splash on a MB fountain pen. I’ve used a biro of theirs for many years and a great pen it was.
One might also add that it is also suitable for left-handers.

Nice video!
Nobody wants to be a chap from the 1960s
Maybe the clothing would be a good option.
