Info on this month's stories:
1. Weegeepie Developments
Two major developments to the accusations against Weegeepie this month came in the form of a response video by Weegeepie posted on an alternate account and a counter-response, titled as a debunk, posted on a RUclips channel going by SummyV1. In his response, Weegeepie stated that he was not guilty of grooming or predatory behavior, as situations and online relationships were misunderstood. The counter-response reshared evidence of inappropriate online behavior in context with Weegeepie's claims, including details Weegeepie did not include.

2. GMod Content Removed
The removal of Nintendo-related content from the GMod Workshop has been made official as announced in a April 24 Steam news release. Garry Newman, creator of GMod, confirmed that DMCA notices against this type of content were "verified by Nintendo as legit". Several GModders have claimed that the DMCA notices were tied to a bad actor, with one X/Twitter thread sharing screenshots and analysis to back this. Others have debated that the screenshot material, and other evidence, points to the legitimacy of the DMCA notices.

3. Saturn Legacy Updates
In a version 2 update released for April, Saturn Legacy now has the castle room system disabled in Area 1 of Princess Peach's castle. This is in addition to other features, mentioned on the GitHub release page.

(Note that the main room of Area 1 of Princess Peach's castle has the tendency to lag in the new update. This is fixed in the latest dev branch update to Saturn and will likely be fixed in the next official release.)

4. Saturn Studio Updates
The Studio branch of Saturn (a version of the machinima editor with an animator-focused interface) was also updated this month. Version 1.3 of Saturn Studio introduces texture packs, orthographic rendering, 60 fps video support, a new Mario Struct object, a texture forwarding option for replacing in-game textures with other in-game textures, and other features.
To use install pre-made texture packs:
Place the texture pack in the dynos\textures folder in your Saturn Studio directory.
Make sure the folder you're placing in dynos\textures is the one which contains the "actors", "levels" and "textures" subfolders, or at least one of these.
If these folders are contained within a "gfx" folder, you'll have to move them from "gfx" into the your texture pack's base folder. For example: If you want to install a texture pack called Upscaled64 and the folders are contained in "Upscaled64\gfx", move them to "Upscaled64". Then Studio will recognized the pack.
To create your own texture packs:
Navigate to %APPDATA%\v64saturn
es\gfx (or your OS's equivalent of this folder).
Use the "actors", "levels", and "textures" folders (and all their subdirectories) as templates for how to name your replacement textures. Once again, remember not to include the "gfx" folder when distributing or installing your newly created pack.
