I'm a Curno, our name was misspelled, there aren't many Curno families but we are Curnows. Often get told "that's a strange surname" but obviously if it wasn't missing the w on the end it wouldn't appear strange, but the amount of times I've had to explain it's not Italian haha. it's nice we have a Porth spelt PorthCurno so at least there's that.
Well done for a great documentary. You really captured the heart of Cornwall. My Granddad, Roy Matthews, talked for months about this, I've just shown it to him, he thought it was great! if you have any follow up questions, I'm sure he would be able to find out for you.
