Ikr, my B2W2 experience with the gym themes was Cheren: "Ok it's the gym theme from BW, pretty standard" Roxie: "Oh shit it's a punk rock version of the gym theme with Roxie singing?? Oh you have to unplug the different music channels until it's just Roxie singing, this is a cool gym gimmick" Burgh: "Oh... this is a thing for ALL the gym leaders" Elesa: "HOLY SHIT??"
Same except with Clay for me. Back before switch i used to use the aux chord for my headphones and the bass slapped like a minchino in battle when i walked in lol

i hope when the "remake" b&w/b2&w2 they just do something new with the reagent. what the originals are are just bland railroaded messes. if they still want their philosophizing make it come from a neutral party, NOT the villains

In case y’all don’t know, Roxie’s gym has different versions depends on whether you are playing Japanese version (original) or universal version. Roxie will spell ‘P-O-K-E-M-ON, Pokémon!’ from the universal version instead of (whatever you hear) from the Japanese version.
I'm not the only person who was surprised by the gym leader line up. Like, sure, we have 5 of the original leaders, but now we have Roxie, Marlon and CHEREN?? That last one surprised me quite a lot-
