Why am I, a Singaporean, watching someone visit and tour around Singapore and I find it so interesting HAH. You're like an auto-click for me now.
Sammee
Haha! Thanks so so much for watching these videos...! 😳🙏 I’m glad you find the entertaining ☺️
Me tooo!! 😂
Janice Fung can u go to Yishun (Northpoint city)
For tourists who are on a budget, you can walk to Sentosa from Vivocity that is at Harbourfront, it's a 10-15 min walk to USS!
Rui En I was about to say that. It’s quite a nice stroll over.
thanks for the tips!
And with all the travelators along the way it doesn't even have to be a long walk if you don't want it to be.
hi. what time does sentosa express open?
@@jhowlhow If I'm not wrong, prolly about 7am
Wonder how many times she walk away and come back to camera to make us feel like it is immersive experience for us, have to give kudos for her hard work :-)
If any foreigner want to come to Singapore USS, Please bring own watter bottle with drink! SGUSS is very expensive, a water can cost $2~3 SGD
You just need an empty bottle, as there's free water cooler available to fill
U buy one of their theme based bottles cost at 15 to 25 SGD.
Refill need pay 2 SGD
I think it's the vibes you feel that makes everyone happy at a theme park. I feel the exact same way when I go to theme parks!!
yeah i know right! it's like im a kid again
You know you have a small Singaporean fan base right? You don't have to do stuff alone hahaha
haha aw man you guys are awesome!
i'll know for next time i come to Singapore ☺
True! Count me in!!! 😂
count me in too, Janice ;)
Me four
me 5!!! 🙋🏻♀️
You can go by train from vivo using ez link and the return trip is free
Y Sim usually I will walk in for free. N take the train out for free. Train coming out will be crowded during peak hours too. Usually I choose the shortest queue.
@@hawkhea7527 If the monorail is crowded, you could always take the RWS bus. It's free too
🙏🙏 thanks for the tips!
I prefer using the broadwalk when its around the sunset time
The bus is longer but cheaper($1), monorail is faster but more expensive ($4 if im not wrong)
i've watched this prolly more than 10x...something abt this vid and your vibes in this vid makes it feel so liberating! good job janice!
Super job on the Universal report. Including those tripod clips makes it like being there. Thanks for all your hard work making vlogs like this one.
Thank you for this vid Janice! We're going to USS next year and I love watching your videos and still you're so cute! Haha!
Just watched your video for first time and already subscribed. Love how energetic you are!
Thank you! 🙏🙏
Great video Janice...love your enthusiasm !! Never Curb that !! Love your stuff !!
Thanks so much for watching Craig!
We're the same way. Sometimes we're just determined to visit an attraction regardless of weather or whatever and it usually goes well. Love tuna buns. Yay you found someone to take your picture.
The ride for Jurassic rapid adventure ride actually do have a single rider queue. U can approach the staff for assistance.
Nice! I went there a few days ago on my trip to Singapore. I loved it!
Hahahaha its awesome reading the comments cause singaporeans really love ya Janice. So many offers to take you around. Looked like you had a great time with them bead talk for breakfast n theme rides. Your film story telling has improved so much too. Great stuff Janice 😁👍
Really enjoying your past few videos where you travel around and take short snippets of yourself walking. Liking this style rather than previous videos where you shot at home and cut to videos of your travel. Am subscribed!
Thanks so much! Same here, I actually enjoy editing this style more than the other style u mentioned.
Thanks for watching !
It's so interesting to see your perspective of Singapore, and also your enthusiasm for theme parks. Its quite entertaining, "to be honest". Hahaha. Keep on doing what u are doing! U have an emerging fanbase!
Love your videos!! watched most of your Singapore videos as we were planning on visiting Singapore and it helped alot, especially the one about visiting the Jewel!! Thank you ^_^ Watching your Universal Studios video made me relive my ahhhmazing day at US!! love from India!!
I actually just went to USS a few days ago and it was my first time riding a roller coasters and and I took cyclone as my first ever ride and it was really fun! I really wish that I could have met you while you were in Singapore. I hope that you enjoyed your stay in Singapore! Your videos are amazing!

My family and I are going to Singapore in a few weeks. Your videos have been very helpful. Keep it up!
Nice! Glad I could help, hope you guys have an amazing time!
hkmitsui ooh small tip for you: try to eat at the nearby places such as Vivo city, the food in USS is pretty expensive
Hi i love to support you so i went to play all your videos on my ipad for over 16 hours and counting without cancelling on the ads. hoped it helped :)
im happy that it is open when the day you come i think couple weeks ago it was close for 2 weeks due to maintenance and my whole family got sad because my mum said it was the coolest ride on universal (when they got their last year) btw new subscriber here.
I genuinely enjoy your content.
ahh i just found out about u and ur like my travel role model ahaha. rlly wanna travel solo one day and this makes me wanna go even more!
I love theme parks. Im a bit obsessed to travel and visit all of the Universal studios and Disney parks even if it means going solo ❤ Thanks for sharing this video 👍
im the same! thank you so much for watching!☺
Food inside USS is ex. Usually I will go out for food n come in again.
Ill do that if I go to USS Again
Yessss... I always go out to get mcdonalds
Oh, you can leave and re-renter on the same day? At Universal Studios Japan, the ticket is only single entry.
We love theme park! We went to Universal Studio in Singapore 3 years ago with our sister who used to study in Singapore. Fun time!
Ohhh when you go BreadTalk, try the spicy beef floss. So goodddd!!! 🤤
I love your videos so much keep up the good work , love from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 ❤️❤️
Hope you had a good time at USS! Wish I was working when you were there, gladly gave you express for transformer! Hopefully to see you again in the future!!
Yeah I had an amazing time ☺️ I’ll def come back again for like a themed event or something !
“Little” Janice having fun (pung intended). So cute. 😝
Great video.....thanks for the up-load....ive been to USS 3 times....i bought a Minion water-bottle plus some replica mugs
Your new viewer here. Really enjoying watching your videos. Thank you for them :)
Thanks for watching ☺️
Transformer was my favourite🙌🏻 Jurrasic was also good and yes flip flop for life, Janice hahaa... Be like Peter, flip flop master 😆
Did you go on the intense transformer roller coaster as well?
Back to childhood and enjoy to the max! I like the transformers ride too it's so fun with the 3d glasses
haha yeah i felt like a kid again!
Looks like fun! We’ll be there over New Years!
I LOVE UNIVERSAL STUDIO!!!!! Great that you went there.
the rapids have like a forever waiting time but is worth it cuz its so funnn
Yea 100% it’s one of my faves
Ancient Egypt is the best!!! Love it 👍🏻👍🏻
I love indoor roller coaster, I remember we were seated at the front. Pitch dark and we didn’t know which direction we go haha, we were in for a surprise especially towards the end of the ride 😂
- Ony
Congratulations for visiting Universal Studio Singapore.
Everyone wants to visit this famous tourist place.
It is an awesome theme park.
Thank you very much for your videos 😊😊😊
Awesome video!!
Haha, that reflection of you carrying the tripod at the MRT station. Vlog life!
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 haha
The Jurrasic Park is also one of the best there. We had an interesting experience as when the ride was finished and we were still on the water waiting to exit from the boat, all of the sudden they closed the ride because of the malfunction and we needed to exit via emergency exit! Haha they even required to drain the water. Luckily we finished the ride already when that happened 😅
I have the same feeling about theme parks! If a country I’m visiting has a theme park, i will plan my trip around it. 😆😆
Hey Janice , love ur videos❤️ i live in singapore and i hope you’ll enjoy ur stay here :)
Thanks so much ! I had an awesome time here ☺️
Janice Fung your welcome! 💛
You could walk from VivoCity across the boardwalk to Sentosa! It's quite a nice sheltered walk
Yeah ! I heard it’s only a 10-15 min walk
Universal is so unique from Hollywood Orlando Singapore and many others it's a fun park to be at wherever u are
If you do drop by VivoCity again, try the Wanton noodles stall at the Seah Im Food Centre across the road. The noodles are very good and his noodles always sold out before 5 or 6 pm. The stall owner is a bit short like 1.63 m, wears specs and has a little balding on his head. The stall is around the middle of the hawker center, facing the bus interchange which is on the hill.
Oh ok I definitely will! Thanks for the recommendation and the info ☺️🙏
Theres alot of ways to enter sentosa.
via walking thru the broadwalk it takes about 10 -15mins and u can kinda enjoy the scenary while taking a slow stroll.
via skytrain is a popular way to enter sentosa as it is the fastest but kinda ex if ure on a budget.
via rws bus is much of a touristy way to enter. but as a local we normally choose to either walk or skytrain
Loving your videos about Singapore! Coming from a Singaporean, im actually quite happy and amazed that you liked our traditions and entertainment that we have in our country for tourist! Especially Jewel Changi Airport and Universal Studios Singapore! More Videos on Singapore! Hope you really enjoyed your trip in the Bright Sunny Singapore!! 🇸🇬
Yea I loved my trip here! Thank you so much for watching !!
I'm currently in Singapore on a month long trip of Asia alone, so I know the feeling
Have fun :)
Ahha that Jurassic park ride in the water now that must be the coolest ride there!
it was pretty cool! but i think my favourite was still the mummy .but then again people are saying the transformer roller coasters are the best rides in USS but i was to chicken to try xD
I'm enjoying the vids Janice, thanks heaps. Just wondering if the power points in Singapore are the same as Australia? I'm getting conflicting info from elsewhere.
Welcome back girl girl. :)
thank you :)
I also have a huge thing about theme park! It feels like I never grow up 😂
I know right! I feel like a kid!
Me toooooo!
what about a trip to Gold Coast for theme parks hopping for three of you?
Hi, I'm from Langkawi Island, Malaysia 🇲🇾.. Thanks for the video.. I will go there & other places in Singapore alone by the end of this month.. Your videos & they way you talking are so good.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Hopefully could see your video travel to Langkawi Island next time 😊
i have no idea how i came across this channel, but i'm glad i did.
Hi Janice, u have a new subscriber! :D
- from a fellow Singaporean
Thank you so much ☺️
Inside vivo city theres monorail train that will bring you directly to sentosa island.. or you could also take the boardwalk and its free. Heheh
Right! Riding alone gives you fast line many times! 😉
perks of going alone! :P
Love your excitement
I love go to theme parks alone. It's surprisingly just really enjoyable
Haha yeah I actually didn’t mind it either
You can walk to sentosa from vivo but its like a 7 to 10min walk if u dont mind,
I went to Universal studios in Singapore, Ocean Park in HK, and Tokyo Disneysea by myself.... It was the a lot of fun! 😄
haha nice! which park was your favourite?
You could have gone to the Madagascar ride which was only 5 mins. Its for after a roller coaster ride tou could relax in there
for those on a budget can just walk round the island and sleep on the beach is great place..
Do you ever worry about your camera getting stolen? I always feel for you when you walk away and feel that someone is going to pick it up lol
sometimes... haha but i never walk TOO far away 😅
Janice Fung but it always does look like you are walking far
Sure is good to be careful however very very unlikely that it will be stolen...not in Spore.
Wow the rides there look a bit different than the ones here. My favorite is the new Jurassic world ride
yeah that one is cool! esp when it gets too hot from all the walking
another epic video as always. 3am in sydney rn
I know right.. I gotta stop uploading so late
And thank you!! 🙏
Noooooo you missed the Battlestar Galatica which is the best rollercoaster ride in the park!! Waiting time is usually 60mins. Worth it!!
yeah a lot of people said it was really good! it seemed really intense just from watching other people do it
Nice - haven't been to Universal Studios in SG because each time we visit, it's just a food trip 😂but this video makes us want to finally go!
PS: you didn't buy a souvenir?! the camera cup is awesome lol
I"m going to solo this coming Aug. I can sense there will be many people during weekends. Lucky I will be going during weekdays.
Not sure what to explore in Universal I guess I will just follow the line where it heads to the end. haha
Omg so much fun I really want to go there one day 😍😍😍😍
You should def make a visit if you go to Singapore ! 🥰
You can take the lrt train to sentosa, it's like a mini train from vivo to uss and it's rly cheap and fast. It's on the top floor of vivo city
Yeah I read in other comments this was the other option I could’ve taken to get to uss, might do that next time
It ain't cheap bruh it's $3
@@Ddevil24 compare it to a cable car lol. Damn cheap if you ain't a cheapo
The cable car is the most expensive way to get to Sentosa, but it's worth it, as a once in a lifetime thing. Great views, and passes over the zip line (which you should have tried! 😉) The day I went to Sentosa, there was torrential rain just after I got down to the beach. Got standed in a mini kid's park thingy on the beach for maybe an hour. Shared an umbrella with the girl working there back to the cable car building, but it was shut down for another hour or so due to the weather. So I had just done some walking trails and stuff and general exploring. Hopefully will get back there one day.
You need to get a white cap, and light clothing in that heat BTW! Oh, was the waiting time scrolling on the displays, or is that just an artefact due to the recording frame rate?
Check out the hawker centre opposite vivocity next time, the braised duck with yam rice is 👍
I def will do! Cheers Ben 🙏
Glad you lucked out and didn’t get rain. Although you did walk out soaked from the ride 😅
yeah! weather forecasted a thunderstorm that day!
That's an expensive bowl of noodles. Nabol would love the transformers ride. We get very excited about theme parks too. :-)
Janice you could have walked across the boardwalk to Sentosa. Transformers is an awesome ride. I find it's easier to get on it at end of the day. The food hall just outside of Universal is cheaper to eat at. I think you can get a pass out.
Singapore is one of the countries with the highest amount of thunder/lightning strike. That is accompanied with rains most of the time.
It's a great day out no matter what your age, the only thing is the queues of a rides but that can't be helped . My favourite was waterworks it was a scene from the film waterworks with men and women aeroplanes motor boats lots of water and people getting very wet maybe it's not there now. Nice vlog as always
Yeah absolutely! I didn’t get to do that... if I ever go again I’ll def hit that up
And thanks for watching Michael !
never been to any universal studios looks like funnnnn even if ur alone :) great job janice!!no gymnastic girls this video tho 🤣🤣🤣
lol!
yeah i still really enjoyed my time here! thanks so much Joshua!
Hi there, thanks for sharing this nice video! I had a solo trip there 2 years ago but could not make it to try all the facilities 😭blame it on my bad stamina
Hi.. Janice
Glad you did this.👍
Thank You.
☺☺☺ thank you for watching!
@@JaniceFung
Welcome.. 😊
You're not alone, Janice. You've been talking to your camera which is connected to a world of RUclipsrs. ;)
ayyyy true that - thanks for watching the videos!
When I went to Singapore 🇸🇬 in September we took the monorail which was also at Vivo Station. Believe it was faster than the bus 🚌.
What day did you go to Universal ??
We went on Monday and it was packed so we had to go again and went back on Wednesday which was sooo empty !!
There's a Universal Studios in Singapore?? I did not know!!! Hahaa I feel what you saying.. I'm get scared about asking ppl to help take pics. What a lovely place to be!!!! The shrek 4D looks super fun to attend! Great weather! At least no rain this time!
yeah! if you like theme parks you should definitely hit it up next time you visit Singapore :D
haha im glad im not the only one whos shy about that
You should turn right at the main entrance. Start with Lights, Camera, Action. Then, Transformers, Battlestar Galactica, The Mummy, Jurassic Park rides, Waterworld (under renovation), Shrek and the rest.
from vivo city you can ride a mono rail going to sentosa.
i thought you could just take the mrt to vivocity then there's a train right there u can take to sentosa. and if you want to, you can take a shuttle bus from the casino back to vivocity for free i think
Janice you could have went up to level 4 of Vivo city and there would be a train that goes directly to universal studios you need your EZ-link card to gain entry
got it for next time :D
Looks like I'm heading to Universal studios by myself when I go to Singapore for GOT7, Yay!!!!
I thought you had 100k subs. lol you deserve soo much more ❤️btw I’m singaporean lol
Aw thanks man! And thank you for watching !! ☺️
For theme park newbies: wear mountain sandals! bring raincoat and empty water bottle!
Mountain sandals won’t bother you too much when it’s wet and it sticks on your feet during roller coaster rides, you’ll never have to take it off. As long as you can bear some minutes of wearing wet straps, but they dry fast so no worries
Raincoats and umbrellas are expensive in theme parks! You can use raincoats to keep you dry during wet rides like Jurassic Park ones (the family in front of me had nothing to protect their kate spade, poor them) and you can still running through the rain to get into indoor attractions so less time wasted due to rain.
If you’re in a country with drinkable tap water, more reason to bring empty water bottle! Stuff are darn expensive over there! Also some theme parks in undrinkable tap water countries might also provide drinkable tap water (like Indonesia’s Dunia Fantasi) so yay for cheap water!
Hi Janice! It’s been about a year since you quit your corporate job, right? At the start of your journey you said you wanted to see new places, meet new ppl, etc. Can you do an update on your journey and share
1. some of the most impactful experiences over the past year
2. What you’ve learned about yourself, one year in
3. Things you want to improve upon as you continue on this journey
4. Anything else you’re willing to share about how your travels this past year have changed you
Would love to hear!
hey thanks for those questions! i am looking to make a video for hitting 10k and will look to cover some of these questions !🙂
Tbh in my opinion, Transformers ride is a better version of Shrek 4D adventure
Singapore loves you!!
Haha I love Singapore ☺️
