HP Envy Move All-In-One | Review | Pick Me Up!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 5 дек 2023
- This is my review of the, somewhat unusual hybrid computer, HP Envy Move All-In-One. Which is not a traditional stationary computer, nor a laptop. But something in-between.
Addition 2023-12-16: The HDMI-port is actually HDMI-in (not out). To be used for connecting external devices to the screen. Not for connecting another screen to the computer. My bad for getting that one wrong. Thx to @DogLap-zk6ek for pointing it out!

💻 Computer ► MacBook Air M2 13,6" (2022)
Unless you require absolute power this is the best, still high end, laptop to buy if you want an affordable, fast, portable and completely silent (no fans) computer with a fantastic screen, keyboard and trackpad.

🛋 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner ► Dreame Z10 Station
Pricy, but it´s a cleaning life-saver in terms of portability and results. And the auto emptying makes it...better then Dyson.

oh and thats not an HDMI output... it's an HDMI *input so you can also use it as a monitor for other devices.
Oh wow, you are absolutely correct! I completely missed that :-( Will put a correction about it in the description. A somewhat cool feature actually. If you also want to carry around your PS5 to do some more heavy gaming at the kitchen table. Thank you for noticing! // Chris
Nice concept. Wish they had given it a bigger battery
Indeed a really nice concept! Totally agree, double the battery life and we're really on to something :-) Thank you for the comment! // Chris
It's quite a nice design, perfect for someone who isn't that into computers and mainly wants something that looks nice?
It actually is! This was the first review product in, well, years, my girlfriend actually thought looked "really nice". Which in my very personal opinion says a lot about the design :-D But the computer does indeed also work fine. Specially lots thanks to the screen that is unusually good for this kind of machine. Thank you for the comment! // Chris
Thank you for the detailed review. Could you please let me know if it possible to remove the legs? Thanks.
Hi! Thank you for the comment! I unfortunately don´t have the computer still since it has been sent back to HP. However as far as I remember there was no way of removing the feet. At least not without opening the whole computer first. Sorry for not being able to confirm it though :-/ // Chris
they should make a mini version with an 18.5in or 17.3in screen
Yeah that could totally be interesting! :-D // Chris
is it possible to limit to charge the battery to a certain limit like 50% to drastically prevent degradation of the battery? When using mostly whole time with powerplug it does not need to be charged at 100% all the time...
Hi! Wish I tested this while I still had the computer :-/ Such a good question. There was at least no obvious option for it from what I can remember. My best bet to find out would probably be to contact HP:s costumer service here: support.hp.com/us-en/contact Sorry not being much help :-/ // Chris
do they have any stand for it that will allow it to tilt little more backward?
Hi! As far as I´m aware no :-/ So the backwards tilt is a bit limited. // Chris
Where did you get the cover?
Hi! The cover came included with the computer :-) // Chris
Does this PC need to be constantly charged to be used like a laptop? I know that this PC can be used uncharged for about 4 hours, but that is not my question, my question is whether this PC can be used continuously without to be charged, and just be on powercord/cable
Hi! That is actually a great questions. Don´t have the computer with me anymore so can´t do any tests I´m afraid. As far as I can read though it does not seem possible to bypass the battery and only run the computer through a normal wall outlet without also charging the battery at the same time. Which is actually kind of a bummer for saving battery longevity. // Chris
@@GetThereFaster thank you for the swift and informative question!
@@commendatore2516 Np! :-)
isn't this just an all-in-one then? you can also move them with some easy too, and they are neat and tidy without a tower also.
Well, I´d say HP is definitely on to something here. The product is perfectly fine as it is right now but I am very eager to see what future revisions holds. Both in terms of design/material-upgrades as well as performance. // Chris
It has a battery so it can last on a charge where other all in ones need to be hooked up to a wall. Also I guess it can work as a monitor too where you can plug other computers into it.
Does it work with a stylus?
Hi! I actually did not try a stylus, but it should work perfectly fine with a stylus as well. I however don´t think you will get as much precision as you would on for example a more expensive iPad or similar. // Chris
I wish apple make one, maybe can imac mobile ?
Yes, at least with some kind of optional battery pack solution that could be inserted straight into the computer. They already have the energy efficiency on their side with the M-series systemchips :-) // Chris
Yes and it will cost $10,463.66 (keyboard and charger sold separately)...😂😂😂
@@Bay2Atl Take my (theoretical) money! ^_^
Might grab this for my wife to work from home. Beats my mid-end 2018 15.6" 1080p laptop for remote desktop connection work. Those 2 usb inputs coule be a deal breaker though...not even 2 USB A inputs means you cant connect a wireless keyboard and mouse at the same time...a bit of a stupid design
Yeah it is a really nice home-work-machine. But the lack of USB-ports is sad. Bluetooth accessories would probably be the way to go :-) Thank you for the comment! // Chris
Bluetooth accessories can easily solve this.

Prices
Talking a bit about the pricing here: ruclips.net/video/3Yl_vqgLzOg/видео.htmlsi=ZSc3ULeSCl7FdJul&t=169 // Chris
I got one and for my coding and design, it’s more than great! If you want to waste time playing games, get a play station or something, not a computer. Don’t bash the computer if you don’t know why we use it.
Thanks for the input! Totally agree, if it fit your needs it's a really neat computer solution :-) // Chris
