I absolutely love lorde. I think it's really cool how she is just herself even with the sudden fame and wealth she still is original. I too find the strange and dark things to be interesting..the misunderstood is always intriguing in a way. But I love how she is so cool and speaks what's on her mind. I can't wait to hear more of her music

my definition of art-you take some think that is in nature(primal) and combine it with situatons and fillings of today, and maney/all will listen because all will understod its meaning, and that is art not to ask how they did it, but to know/understand and see how and the way they done it, so we can follow its example and doo better for all/every one of us.
What amazes me is the depth of the conversation. Most U.S. talk shows are all about comedy and/or surface issues, and do do NOT get into the kind of pitfalls of fame discussed here. I find it interesting that Mr. Leto seems to almost resent Lorde and you can see in her face, when he makes the "I wasn't born great like her," how wounded she is to hear such a blunt statement contrasting their journey's to fame. You can see the insecurity within her that stands in contrast to the level of her fame. Who knows what the next few decades hold for her, but you can see how over-whelmed and appreciative she is of her sudden rise. Let's hope she remembers that in 2 years, or in 10. But, the piranha are thick when you wade into the fish bowl.

It's a burden, even this interview could be damaging to her. As she seems even younger than she is in it, trying to discover herself, label herself. Only then, as an artist, will she be able to master her art after asking all these questions.
