Ray Comfort was so scared that he began nervously laughing...
After an evangelism encounter with a young man came to an abrupt end, the young man’s father began getting aggressive with Ray. Ray was so scared that his instinct was to nervously laugh. May God soften their hearts.

It’s sad how lukewarm Christians can’t explain what the gospel means, which means if you’re trusting in Jesus, you’ll walk in righteousness. We’re not only ask for forgiveness but act on what we’re asking for forgiveness for. The other guy would rather punch someone than to try to understand why you’re explaining what the Gospel means (coming from a good place which is Jesus), it’s really sad.

It's something in the name of Jesus that stirs up animosity in man, even when they profess to be a believer. I had to ask that question to myself once. Why does the name of Jesus bother me so much? The demon inside of us wants to blind us. So I rebuked the devil in the name of Jesus. After that, the name of Jesus bothered me no more. I welcome hearing his name.
What are your thoughts on the series “the chosen”, Ray?
No Christian should be upset over another Christian sharing the Gospel. I pray that man has the opportunity to reflect and inspect his own heart soon.

My uncle passed away Tuesday, he was fearful to die..he worried about what was waiting on the other side for him..I told him he was lucky, lucky to be on his death bed (something few get) and to be able to talk to God, work out his transgressions with God before the end..I'm happy that he listened and had some peace 💜 God bless Ray 💜

I was perishing. I thought I was saved but, I was self righteous in my own mind. I had a lack of knowledge about the light of the gospel. And i'm so happy I encountered jesus and heard the light of the Gospel from a perosn like ray! I heard and a seed was planted and it took many years but here I am. Changed. New desires. And a new heart. Full of the holy spirit! Praise God 🙌 lord you are amazing. Gave me a heart of flesh! Amen. Praying for all to come to repentance through Jesus christ!

The fact that the guy wanted to punch you for just talking to him peacefully about the saving grace of Christ, that shows that he’s not saved at all.
And the young man got so mad as well. This is very sad.
How can you say you're a believer and have anger in your heart? That young man in the hat was convicted, and so was his friend or father. They are the prime example of how Americans are taught a false gospel; believe you can love Jesus and continue in your sin. Jesus says, "If you love me then keep my commandments." Sure, we are tempted. Sure we fall short sometimes, but the primary goal is to love God in such a way that we find sin detestable and we try hard to fight it. Narrow is the way, folks and few will find it.

It looks like you have selective reading, Craig. I never said I don't sin, but I try hard to fight it. In Christ I am perfect because Christ is my strength to overcome sin. Jesus was tempted by the devil for 40 days and 40 nights and He set the example on how we should fight temptation and sin. The only reason you responded to me is because, you too believe you can sin and still go to heaven. God knows our heart, and He is the only one who can see if we are fighting it or willfully committing it. I suggest you stop being a slave to sin and commit your life to Jesus instead of the world, and stop wrongfully accusing strangers of things you know nothing about. The bible also says you will know them by their fruit, Matthew 7:20-21.Therefore by their fruits you will know them. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Getting upset over unjust things is acceptable, even Jesus got upset over those who were buying and selling in the temple. It wasn't the type of anger this man exhibited toward Ray, though, it was an anger that disappointed Jesus. How can you say you're a Christian, yet your fruit exhibits that of wanting to punch someone in the face? People who justify this man's behavior are part of the problem. Out of the hundreds of videos I have watched I think I have only seen 1 or 2 people admit they are not a good person. And I have never seen a person say "I am a sinner. I need a Savior." It truly shows how self-righteous the human heart is.

The man threatened Ray with bodily harm. That used to be a felony - it's called "verbal assault". Probably only a misdemeanor now in our fallen State of Kommiefornia. But in my native HB, our police take threats seriously. Pray for God to protect Ray & all LW team & for the pride-filled man to stop being angy about hearing someone talking about Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him completely - ALL of them. 🙏
Words should not be prosecuted. They can threaten and leave. Thats the carnal nature in them. Christians have been assaulted since Jesus was crucified for sharing the truth.

You cannot compare what our Lord Jesus suffered for speaking His Truth and today when we have laws against threatening people to injure someone. Look it up in God's Holy Word - He wrote to obey the laws from the leaders He allowed us to have. ONE of them that is against the law is threatening someone bodily injury and that includes WORDS. Go look it up. It's against the law. Just because you don't agree with the law doesn't mean that it's wrong and shouldn't exist. And not knowing man's laws can get you seriously injured or thrown into jail because certain enforcements, lawyers, those in authority might take advantage of you for NOT knowing the law. Seriously, go look up what God says about the sin and obeying the laws that are in our land.

We're supposed to fear God not people
And God says in the Bible that people will hate us because they first hated Him
Lots of people will also hate that we're sharing the good news ( Gospel ) with others but that's not an excuse to stop sharing but to share it with everyone we can 🙏🏼
Because if we are true Christians and we know God the Father and the good news of His Son dieing on the cross for all of our sin and overcoming death we should share the gospel with others tell them the great news too so they won't be lost anymore !
If we miss an opportunity to share the gospel when we could've easily shared it
The blood of that person that we didn't share the gospel with when we could've is on our hands if they go to hell

That encounter with the guy who wanted to punch you was strange. He had a plastic cup in his hand, so I thought he might have been drinking. Not to long ago I was witnessing at a gas station and this guy got angry and came at me with a squeegee! lol! He retreated though. God bless you Ray.

That kid is an example of what is happening to the young generation as a result of this woke society, technology, and mainly irresponsible parenting.

My friend let me try to explain. God made this creature out of dirt. He blew the breath of life into him and made him a created being to have a relationship with him. He gave him everything that he could possibly want and gave him a warning not to touch or eat a certain fruit off of a tree or he would certainly die. But this man wanted to have the very thing that was forbidden for him to have. Now, because of that man's disobedience, sin entered the world, and through sin, death spread to all men because all have sinned. This man's name was Adam, which translated from the Hebrew means mankind. Man has inherited this sinful and rebellious nature. So God gave us another chance to get right with him by giving us the Ten Commandments and told us if we live by them will live.( Deuteronomy 30:19-20) God gave us an impossible standard to live by because, The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. Because of Men's sinful and rebellious nature, man finds the things that are forbidden to do attractive. Because it gives that man the opportunity to exercise his self will. Thus, the law increases trespass. This is why all these deaths happen. So you see my friend it's not God's fault, it's ours. But God loves you so much he did something by demonstrating his love and giving us his his son Jesus Christ to take the full punishment of God's Wrath that the law demands upon sinners on your behalf by living the law perfectly that the law demands for righteous living he took the punishment that you deserved so that you could have life, and life more abundantly! Brother it's called amazing grace! That's why the Bible says, now where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ( Romans 5:20). So you see my friend God is just trying to get your attention that it's not his fault, it's ours! Now let me ask you something. Would it be fair for God to send his son to take the punishment for your wrongs? No it wouldn't be fair. If God were Fair we all would be dead and in hell indefinitely. And indefinitely is a long time!! So, my friend we ought to be thankful that God is not fair but merciful. The Bible says that God is long suffering not wishing anybody would suffer condemnation but come to him and repentance. If you with a Godly grief confess your sins, and turn from living a sinful lifestyle and live right for God trusting in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, you also you also will not taste death! (John 5:24)

The gentleman with the glasses reminds me of the Austrian/German man that Ray witnessed to in one of his video's and Ray said "you could die tonight and end up in Hell", needless to say, that man got struck by a vehicle and died some time later.
There is no repentance after you die, do it now, confess, profess, and live.
Learning so much from Living Waters - have heard Ray say before that witnessing to people who say ‘I’m a Christian’ are often the hardest to reach with the true gospel, so I saw his heart for that guy that he wanted to be sure that he’d had the full gospel. As someone who grew up in Southern California, all I see is both young woman and men being disrespectful, ESPECIALLY when they go out drinking and partying! There’s no more going out to have fun when all I see and experience is debauchery. I’m only in my late twenties and no longer go out lol but it’s all good 👍🏼 😂

He is bold, and persistent which allows him to have such success in sharing, but at times he elavates this to a level of aggitation for a few individuals.
Even some of the greatest gospel messengers don’t always get their delivery right. Not all people recieve the same way, and adjusting this during an interaction is important.

I thank God for the wife of this guy, his reception of the gospel is an evidence on the power of prayers in softening unbelievers heart.

The young mans father was hiding something and Satan was tugging at him to leave.
Quite often, Jesus was misunderstood, misrepresented, and hated without a cause. They would take up stones to stone Him, call Him demon-possessed and a rabble-rouser, an enemy of the state, a drunkard, and so-forth.
In this video, those men - rather than work through the rest of the conversation, that man and his friend(s) ran off while threatening violence. Was it because they understood, or because they didn't want to understand, or something else?
I do not know: but I do know that this and other such things will likely happen to you if you share the Gospel.
The 'and more' is important - because there are also plenty of people who will lend you their ear, and hear, and it is a wonderful thing and worth enduring for.
And for folks who get angry: that may actually be a good thing, in the long run.
If someone is happy with you sharing, that's good: they'll likely remember.
If someone is angry, they'll also likely remember what was going on. Your reactions here are super important: if you are naught but kind and understanding even while they are fuming and irrational, you give them a powerful thing to remember. Especially if they name the name of Christ, yet do not actually know Him - that can open the door to thoughts such as "Why was that guy patient and kind, and myself fuming and hateful? Is that how Jesus taught us to be? What did Jesus actually teach, because I believe I did not follow Him there?"
The way we act is a powerful testimony: it's not just our words which tell people who we are.
And for reactions: it's apathy that may be the worst reaction, overall. Even if it's technically the easiest to deal with from our end, since they just leave without wanting to give you the time of day, it's the worst for them since they did not hear what they need to hear.
Regardless, remember prayer.

I'm sure that some days, the only thing that keeps you going is your faith that God loves you and that is what matters the most. It must be discouraging at times. My heart sank when that man and (what I am assuming was his son) walked away like that. I will be praying for them that you will see them again soon and that they will have a different attitude towards you and your message. God bless you Ray ✝️

The greatest gift in the world that no one wants. Horrifying and sad but God will save all of the ones that He has chosen. Thank you for Ray Comfort for doing the Lords work. I pray some of these people would be miraculously saved by God.
I worry more about the two "christians" than the men who confessed they were not believers...

Loved evangelising in campus, apologetics, then stopped, then as I was reminiscing I remembered Living waters was my go to back then, and the Lord brought me back here. Pray one day songs I sing will convict souls for Christ.Pray that guy gets saved

He is not hostile towards it
He was hostile to someone spiritually abusing his believer son, telling the boy who already believes the gospel that he is going to hell. That was wrong, abusive, & controlling. Ray either needs to take some time off & refine his message, think about his errors, or stop bothering people with 'stop sinning or you're going to hell!'. That's a works message & NOT the gospel. Unbelievers do not have the power to stop sinning, & I've yet to meet a believer who has stopped sinning. Sanctification is of the Lord. He's laying a burden on these people that not even he can bear, if you think about it... & that's not right.

And you, sir, have the spirit of the accuser of the brethren. Grace isn't cheap: it's free. You would rather have grace that must be purchased, it seems. Salvation is not 'for sale'. You can't buy it. You can't earn it. You can only submit to the gospel, & through regeneration of the heart, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, & the washing of water by the Word of God, overcome evil tendencies, & sin less & less as you learn obedience. The bible clearly states the sanctification is OF THE LORD. But apparently, like Ray, you want people to obey the 10 commandments to be saved & to STAY saved, & hope Jesus paid the price for all your prior sins, because he's not going to save you unless you walk right, starting NOW, here on this pier... which is what Ray "preaches".

Jesus told two different people to "go and sin no more" and that was before his death and resurrection.
Paul says "awake to righteousness and DO NOT SIN" in 1st Corinthians 15:34.
Only an UNbeliever wouldn't take them seriously 😢
Context is everything... Jesus would address Jews who KNEW the law (which is the schoolmaster, teaching us what sin is), & Paul was addressing those (like you & me) who also knew. UNbelievers... do not know their sinfulness, or at least the depth & the Word about it... They don't even know how to stop being sinful, or the power of God, or the possibility of having power of their temptations even when they want to stop.
The point isn't about the nuances of recognizing in & turning one's heart from it... but the fact that Ray is effectually showing them 1) there is a path to death & a path of life & 2) the way to life is to be righteous.... but not CLEARLY explaining that their righteousness is CHRIST'S... not their own in "trying" to stop sinning... Which is EXACTLY the message the appear to be receiving.
Even Ray's actions seem to manifest his own sense of righteousness as all his sinning is phrased in the past tense (as far as I've seen, & I've seen a lot of his videos)... & his need to compulsively evangelize people on the street, & make a massively public show of his deeds (RUclips). Think about it. Ray might be saved, I don't know... but his words & deeds indicate to me he is saved by works... & that's an affront to the gospel. Sorry to break it to ya.
I like the guy. Maybe he's sincere... but it appears he is sincerely wrecking people forever.... & maybe he's a lying deceiver... He sure has the platform for it. Who knows? Only God. But I would not rip through souls like he does, sending them away in confusion, shaming them publicly. Let's get honest.
Most "christians" applaud Ray because he is doing something they are afraid to do, or too lazy to do, or whatever... but if he's doing it WRONG... then it's even worse! Sick of it. There are people who 'have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.' That seems to have an application here. I never met the man. But I'm less & less impressed. Yeah..uhh that Guy who claimed he was a Christian and said that’s a good way to get punched dude is unfortunately not a Christian. There’s no sane Christian on earth that would stop another Christian from sharing the Gospel. You’ll know them by their fruits. This is especially true when it comes to the gospel being shared.
