I had the pleasure of meeting Richard Hammond while visiting SoHo in NYC. He took the time to talk to my partner and I for a few minutes and take a picture with us.

By all accounts I've read, he's quite a lovely chap when you met him in person, down to earth and pleased to interact with fans. James seems the same. Clarkson strikes me as 50/50, he could either be quite pleasant and funny or a complete jerk, but I forgive him that.

Why don’t you create a podcast with Richard and James (dosent have to be professional they can even record on their phones but they shouldn’t have a specific topic for an episode they just talk random topics)

@@sudhanshu-savant I think they are pretty much done with media when they go off screen fully. I suspect they'll do things like JM's "Our man in ..", JC's farming, etc for a couple of more years and then retire from almost everything.

I’d love that! And in the words of James May: Good News! Richard actually announced yesterday, that he’ll be doing podcast with his daughter on a weekly basis. And with guests. And he already confirmed that one of them will be James. That’s gonna be fun.

Bolivia was my fav - When JC was on the edge of that cliff face driving with gravel giving way, I was terrified for him and even when I watch it now I worry this time I watch he could die 🤣 We can enjoy it now, but they were all very courageous on that road.

Bolivia was such a fantastic special. Truly challenging for all three presenters. It would have been a monster for the entire huge crew, I'm sure. It's the one I return to watch probably once a year. It's that good. One of the best pieces of tv production ever made. The Argentina special is there as well. It's just as entertaining. Their modifications to those fantastic cars pissed me off, but it was made in a different time, kind of (how dare they!!!)

I can totally see May during the "train horn" prank on Hammond going: "You see, this car's horn sounds like a British train horn, which is not at all what an American train horn sounds like. So technically it's not a very accurate prank. However Hammond is a knobhead and won't know this" being pedantic as always. 😂
