Thank you so much Teresa I really really enjoyed watching you creating on the round Gelli Plate.. You got some really really awesome prints, and I really really love ❤️ them. And even the one you least liked was made into a beautiful card. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Your stencil collection is enormous! I don't think I've ever seen you use the same stencil twice. I love this video. Time to get the inks out again!!! Tfs ❤️
That's really interesting! Alcohol inks usually can't be used with normal paper. So that's interesting. Is it because you're using the acrylic paint over the top?? I love all your experiments!! Really lovely! Thanks for sharing will us. ❤️🌸🙂
I like them all, and I really like the black one. I think it would be great for an outer space or Halloween. On the Dorothy card you did with it, it looks like she could be holding something, and I think a hanging skull, pumpkin or jack-o-lantern would work. I too like the clean up designs because using another stencil on top could create something new all together again. Well done my friend. Thank you for sharing.
Thankyou - it goes to prove that we should never discount the ones that don't turn out how we expected, we just need to keep an open mind! I like your ideas for Dorothy - I may have some tiny ephemera to add to her hand!
I bought a heap more alcohol inks on sale recently. Usually of course I use Yupo paper but it will be much more economical to use my gel plates and regular paper. Thanks for all your great ideas!
Love, love, love them all. So nice of you to show so many varieties of things that can be made just playing around and altering things. I did stop using inks on gel press pads because of the staining. Was concerned not that the color would directly interfere but it seemed to change how I saw new colors I put on. We'll give it another go. Thanks for the inspiration!
I really liked the way you left in the one that you didn’t like. It’s so good to know that people who know what they are doing can still make boo boos. I loved the ways the backgrounds turned out in their cards. They are gorgeous
I really enjoyed your video Teresa! I didn't know Alcohol Inks could be used on the gel plate. Thank you so much for showing some completed cards at the end. I love making backgrounds, but then look at them & think, "Now what?". This video was so helpful & I learned a lot.
Loved your prints. I was afraid of using alcohol inks on the gel plate but after seeing yours I'm ready to try my own prints. WIll be watching more or your tubes. Thanks for the inspiration!
These are beautiful, I have been playing with the idea of Gelli printing, and guess what!!!! after this video I am hooked!!! Purchased my first gelli plate today , and have loads of stash to start experimenting when it arrives. Really like the alcohol inks ( and I have loads which I haven't started to use yet) . I do journaling and think this type of printing will add a different dimension to my Journals. Thank you for sharing and explaining so well your techniques.
Just started using Gelli plate, will definitely be going to try this method as have plenty of alcohol inks, thanks for taking the time to make videos much appreciated.
I was having a play with my gel plate, and alcohol inks. Not quite following along, but trying things out. I don' t know how you clean your stencils, but try spritzing some alcohol on them and then pressing that down onto some paper. I got some really neat results, just from trying not to waste my ink!
love your ideas for the gelli plate - so much inspiration!| Also really like that you give examples of how to use the finished prints for cards etc :-)
Koren, I liked your card! BUT, Dexter, your card was amazing!!! You did such a good job with the card as well as with the video! I would love to see more of your cards and more of you filming videos. You and your mom seem to be having so much fun!! I like it!
Wow, again, I am surprised by the outcome of the first piece! I was thinking it was just going to be a big mess, I know how fickle alcohol inks are, but then you lifted the print and oh my gosh it was AWESOME!!! In fact, they ALL turned out really neat! Thanks for the inspiration :-)
You explain everything beautifully, what is the colour of the Perl paint. The pink print I’d beautiful , I have looked on Amazon there are different colour Pearl ones. Thank you
You made some pretty prints, Teresa. I love playing with alcohol inks on the Gelli plate. Haven’t done it in awhile, so I think I will play with them today. Thanks, Teresa for the inspiration.
You made some gorgeous prints!! Wow! I really like that round plate! That works perfect for card making!! 14:50 looks so pretty! But 19:30 has to be my fav! I just recently did a live stream playing with alcohol ink and acrylic paint on my DIY gelli plate. I cant wait to do it again! I need to get more alcohol first. I never thought I'd make about 50 prints at once! I did try my pearl alcohol inks and my iridescent paints and they worked awesome! WARNING! Lol! They're addictive!! Lol! My gelli plate is about 8x11 now. So I made full sheet prints. I cant wait to make copies of some and use them in my mixed Media backgrounds! Thanks for sharing this! You made gorgeous art!!! #YOUROCK #m3glamsquad 👑
I will have to give alcohol inks a try on my gelli plate! Nice crisp image. I really like the stencil you used with the warm colors - the one with different diamond and square shapes. Could you share what brand it is? Thanks!
Hello Teresa! I can't find sequin waste. Is there another name for it? I live in Canada 🇨🇦 so it may be called something different here. I love your videos! They are so informative. Thank you and take care!
Love the video! One thought..since the addition of one alcohol inc over another, reactivates the ink underneath it, This would totally disturb the initial stripe pattern that you’re trying to put on in the background. And that’s a thought as to why you’re not getting the stripe background that you want.
Thankyou - the stripe design remains in the areas that were masked by the stencil. It would have been a wiser choice to pick a stencil with smaller openings and more surface area of the actual stencil.
Hi there, I've never thought of using alcohol inks with my jellyplate ...thank you so much for the video and inspiration. I was thinking as I watched about adding the paint onto the stencil before washing off the inks to see what results you'd get. Hate to see good ink go to waste, I'm a waste not want not kinda girl :0) x
Thank you! You can try, but the ink kind of sticks to the stencil so I don't know if it will pull off and give a print - but, you have nothing to lose by trying!
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Rayden Curtis I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I noticed that you're using very thin paper, when I've used the gel press in the past, I found it very difficult to lift the paper off, can you recommend what type of paper is best for alcohol inks with the gel press?
@@TeresaMorgan rats!! Just trying to think of something to mix with it so it wont dry superfast.....surely there is something out there!! I would love to try this!! Thank you!!!
Thank you for showing us how to use the prints on cards.
So very beautiful!

Loved watching you using your gelli plate , some lovely ideas ,,,, 😊💕
Thanks Annie xx
Lovely 👏👏👏😍😍😍
Wow, that round one with the blue and aqua with offset pattern looks like the Stat Wars Death Star!
That's exactly what I thought too!
Your stencil collection is enormous! I don't think I've ever seen you use the same stencil twice. I love this video. Time to get the inks out again!!! Tfs ❤️
Lol - you are right, I think I have around 150+ which is shameful!!! I do use them though. Have fun playing, hope you don't get as messy as I did!
I think these are amazing prints. Can't wait to get started. Thanks for sharing.

I followed this exactly, but all I got was a pearly mess. Loved your tutorial.
I hope you have better luck another time. The inks have to be dry before you add the thin layer of paint.

Thankyou so much!! I agree that it is addictive, I have 4 plates: 2 rectangular ones and 2 circular ones. Keep experimenting, and having fun xx
Absolutely amazing results, Teresa! I was so curious every time when you lifted the paper. Thank you so much for sharing 💕
Thanks Evelyn, it's always a surprise with printing, and that's half the fun xx
Thank you for another great demo. Tim Holtz suggests hand sanitizer for cleaning up and removing the stains from your fingers too.
Great ideas and techniques! For your hands make sure you put hand lotion on before you ink! This will help protect your hands from absorbing the ink!
Thankyou xx I will try that!
First time I've watched your tutorials, Teresa and i so enjoyed it. Fantastic. Brimming with inspiration. Thank you. I have subscribed xx
Thankyou xx
Lovely techniques and cards Theresa! ☺️🥰 I’m pulling out my gelli plates and AIs.
Thanks so much Risa x

Lovely work. I like most 19:40 Flower one. I have that round gelli plate, but don't have roller yet :D So I have to wait until I can try this
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it x
Estou amando tudo que faz... Onde posso adquirir estes Stencil que usou ?? Grata❤
Do you have a recommendation for where to purchase stencils? Enjoyed your video and loved your stencils.

Which inks do you use please love the prints thank you xx
When you remove the stencil you could lay it down on a piece of paper for another print.. no waist

Hi! The only other name I know for it is Punchinella. Thank you for your kind words x
Loved your videos and the way you explain your process. Did you make the mats yourself or did you buy them ready made? Thank you for your response.
Thank you - I make my own.

Ranger Archival or Staz-On ink should work fine.

Thanks for the inspiration. I am new to this
Hard or soft brayer?
Type of paint?
Is India ink same as alcohol ink?
Would I have to clean the Gelli plate with something after using alcohol ink or just press clean sheet of paper on to make sure it is clean?
Really love your product. Where did you get the cards you place the art on. Thanks
I either buy packs of cards/envelopes from my local craft store or make card blanks from 300gsm card.
Maravilhoso!
I noticed that you're using very thin paper, when I've used the gel press in the past, I found it very difficult to lift the paper off, can you recommend what type of paper is best for alcohol inks with the gel press?
Great video so inspiring. Beautiful finish. Where do you get rubbing alcohol from chemist not seem to sell it. Thank you for great video. 👏👏❤
Thank you! I got my isopropyl alcohol from Amazon.
Hi. I love your videos. I tried this technique but my inks just pooled. It's a fairly new Gelli plate. Any tips?
Alcohol ink bottles are designed so you can leave the bottle lids off without the ink evaporating! It's a huge time saver!
These prints are awesome!!! Can you please tell me the size of your round Gelli plate and the size/brand of your little brayed? TY 💕
Thank you!! It's a 4 inch plate and the brayer is the small size one by Ranger.
Teresa Morgan TY Teresa!!! 💕
Wondering if you could add a little water to it to keep it from drying so quickly. I wondered about using these on the plate! Thank you!
Thank you!! Water and alcohol won't mix unfortunately so you can't extend the drying time.
@@TeresaMorgan rats!! Just trying to think of something to mix with it so it wont dry superfast.....surely there is something out there!! I would love to try this!! Thank you!!!

Sei fantastica! Vorrei imparare questa favolosa tecnica ma sono italiana e purtroppo non capisco la tua lingua. Tu fai dei video in italiano?
Would this work on polymer clay instead of paper
