I love how even the HUD was just like, "oh are a really doing this again...oh wait... WOAH WTF BRO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" At least it didn't take 10 minutes this time haha, keep it up mate, huge fan! :)
I especially like how this one doesn't use the Golden Torizo cheat thing to get all the items. That bothered me a little because cheat codes aren't normally allowed.
cpadolf0, I'm pretty surprised by how quickly this run came out, and I can't be the only one. This run was published just 40 days after your last submission, and relies on a completely different bug. I guess it looks like you were just playing around with X-ray climbing and happened upon this method, but how can you possibly be sure it's optimized?
Well I wasn't the one to find this glitch, nor that it could be used to end the game. As for optimization, the majority of the run is made up of parts that haven't been improved upon a single frame for years, so most of it went by very quickly and should be quite close to optimal. The OoB stuff at the end wasn't that hard to optimize either because I had a script which helped me navigate through the area. And the spot to activate the glitch seems at the moment to be the best one, because the ending won't be triggered if you are at any higher position and there doesn't seem to be a better place to get OoB quickly than the landing site. Of course I don't think it is 100% perfect but pretty much no run ever is (especially of a game as complex as this one), but I think it's about as optimal as any Super Metroid run I've ever made.
Cpadolf0 you is the beast player of super metroid, Cpadolf0 > Saturn, Cpadolf0 = Kriole, hey bro you or you friend can make a TAS of "Super Metroid Redesign" please XD. Videos more best want the last ^^

OK, cool. I guess it doesn't take that long to optimize a 12 minute run anyway when almost 10 minutes of it is pretty much identical to existing runs.
CPADOLF BEAST PLAYER!
7:40, wins the game
dear god...
