What gsm is the macpac? Rare to see a list with no puffy jacket in it. Cheers for review!

@Pisunisse the macpac nitro is 90gsm. I could see the forecast was going to be quite warm and my quilt is comfortable to around 0oC so I concluded that I could get away without a puffy. That was the correct decision. I wore the nitro in the tent a couple of nights but never on the trail.

Interesting video. Did you buy your tent direct from Durston and if so how much did you pay in import taxes? Trying to persuade my husband to buy the 2 person version!

UK has 20% VAT and 12% import tax on tents + whatever administration fees you have on postal services. Basically what you see in UK seller Valley and Peak for example has that already in the price plus some for profit.

@Jennifer.4 I bought from kaviso which was the official distributor. I paid £260 and that included shipment but I think it also included tax - there was an option to pay tax upfront. I know Durston is now retailing direct so things have changed. Some people use stackry to make things cheaper. Simple duty website helps with the calculations either way.
