The first step is to move your clip to the video two layer and then head to your project panel and then right click select a new item and then color mat,
then drag it below your video clip and extend to match its durations.
Now select your video clip on the timeline and go over to effect controls and lower the scale value.
So you can see the color mat behind it go over to the effects type in roughen edges and drag it on top of your video clip under effect controls
change the value of edge type to cut border should be set to 500 edge sharpness to 10 and finally fractal influence to zero.
This will give us a nice rounded corners.
