I don't recommend doing a shallow dive like that. Do steep dives to rapidly build up speed, approach the enemy like a dive bombing Ju 87 Stuka at a 70 - 80, sometimes 90 degree angle. This ensures that your 75mm shell hits the roof armor of tanks where they are most vulnerable, and so that it has a fairly straight trajectory making aiming easier. On aiming too, don't use the sight. It tunnel visions you a bit too much and you may not be able to realize that you can make out the individual blades of grass. The crosshair is a bit of a lie too. What I recommend is just using third-person and/or zooming in and eyeballing how much lead you need to pull. Speaking of lead, make sure to give your shell some extra leeway. Every bullet drops a bit after it launches out of the barrel, and while it isn't as noticeable on .50 cals, 20 mm cannons, it definitely is on the shells found in cannons launched by aircraft such as the Hs 129 Duck's 75 mm cannon. The shell is heavier, and like and actual tank, you need to aim higher than where the enemy is to make sure that the shell connects with said enemy instead of falling short and hitting the ground. Think of it as just aiming a literal flying tank that doesn't stop.
