At some point would you consider making a video dedicated to your recommendations for in person and online stores for finding different kinds of clothing?

As a barber I can say that there are two kinds of bearded men, men who grow a beard and men who just stop shaving. A man who grows a beard does so with a purpose, they are going for a certain look and style. He goes to the barber a couple times a month for a trim and line up. A man who stops shaving has very little interest in what his beard looks like and it's usually unkept and shaggy.
After I retired from a very well-groomed profession, I grew a beard…until I saw a picture of me in a Jiu-jitsu class with me CLEARLY the oldest guy for miles…gone!
I think when men start shaving their beards off is when they realize that they need to maintain it as much as their head. That's too much work! 😂
Overall, I agree however I have not a good experience with barbers. The last time I let one touch my beard, it got so butchered I almost wished for the mask mandates to return... (Yes, it *really* was *that* bad.). Ever since then, the only person other than myself who I let anywhere close to it with scissors (or anything else) is my wife.
In fact, I stopped going in for haircuts and paid one of my daughters to do it instead. Then I decided to stop doing that as well and just let my hair grow aside from the occasional trimming to keep it looking healthy.

@@RandomPerson-nd2ey I am sorry that you had such a bad experience with barbers. You should do what you feel comfortable with. My advice in the future should you ever return to a barbershop, check out friends, family and co workers and if you like their cut ask who their barber is. When you decide to go, tell the barber your story and see if they can help.
Separating the beard from the head hair is spot on and something I have said for years. I disagree with the opening length distinction of a full beard. I think the undercut/separating the beard is key but works with ANY well groomed and purposeful beard.
Great job! One reason I grew my full, medium length beard was to draw attention down from my bald head.

In the mean time, just don’t mix very similar sizes or patterns. Like checked jacket and thin lines shirt is normally alright, both large stripes is not. Also, there are some good videos about that already.

The thing I'm missing is what beard(s) would go well with long and, in my case, very wavy hair, except a full beard?
While I like the full beard look, it looks a little too messy for my overall style and since I have a very "typically masculine" face, I often find it to hide my features too much instead of enhancing them, yet I find a simple stubble a bit boring... 🤔

My favourite style is an undercut combined with a long viking beard and a full mustache.
I have no. 4 all over buzz cut and a 4 inch beard

Oval face finance guy here: Medium to long side-parted Ivy League cut with natural medium stubble (2 guard, 1 guard below jaw).
I just keep a van dyke, with a handlebar mustache while letting my goatee portion get as long as I can get it. I’m interested to see how long it will get.

I’m bald, I shave down to the middle of my ear/to the cheek bone and then I fade down into my beard. I shave a sharp jawline, with about 1/2in hair from the back of the jaw to 1 1/4in of hair on the chin. It’s a clean look, gives your face structure (especially if you have a round face), without being disproportionate to your head.
