I missed a few messages from this series, but oh how I love judges and your series on it has been so helpful and encouraging, I wish the sermons went on longer! Just keep checking bags, I’ll pay the fare, I’m in for the ride lol. I was waiting in anticipation for the sermon on Samson. I believe we should come at all scripture soberly and not in a flippant way, cause things during judges are deadly serious. But something just strikes me so funny about the story of Samson. I’m a presuppositionalist but I find myself saying to myself as I’m reading the Bible “nobody could write this but God”. Like who would’ve thought the Author of life is a literary genius?
You can easily cut out 20 minutes of fluff from this sermon. Basically with every blessing there is also a burden. Samson did not work alone he succeeded when he worked with the Spirit of The Lord. You will fail in your own strength. Husbands need to submit to the will of The Lord and wives to their husbands. When a husband submits to the will of the wife you are going against biblical doctrine it will not be profitable.
I like the play on words since Jesus Is The Final Judge in so many ways.
