Do you have any idea good idea as to why it blew? Its known for these motors to take a beating and can handle high horsepower. Think it was a tuning issue? Regardless, I am VERY excited what kind of lemonade you make out of these lemons!
BTW if your really going to start tracking the chevelle, go NA,there too much heat built up doing these events. Did the engine have a baffle in the oil pan?? You might also do a drysump,if your wanting to goes the$$$ route. Also if your going to keep the Triangulated 4 link talk to Tony at ABC Performance he walked me thru redoing the upper trailing arm mounts,it's alot of fab work but I see you have a lift, I did mine with the body on...yup garage floor. Or go 3 link. The car is pushing alot. And what springs are you running? I'm 850 in the front,225 in the rear. Phil
sorry to hear that about your motor. i would say dump a junk yard motor with the same set up just to drive while you build her back up. Or do like me and build a naturally aspirated Pontiac motor for it :) Best of luck brother. oh and what was all those big bumps on the track? was that wheel hop from the rear brakes?
Sorry to hear this brotha! You did it doing what you do & love on the daily. Can’t be mad at that. You will bounce back! Stay Wrenchin’👊🏾
Bummer to see the engine down. Love the channel and its been a huge help with my Chevelle! Maybe N/A build next? Keep on keeping on!
New subscriber here.
New subscriber but man, sorry to see the car go down.
Nothing good ever comes easy so review, learn from your mistakes, and on to the next one brotha!
My suggestion blueprint ls427 620hp. For lighten, I don't know what the rules are when it come to fiberglass.
What are the rules in autocross for lighten a vehicle?
Dang bro, sorry to see and hear this!!!! Take your time and regroup.. Very inspiring and informative channel 👍🏽

Yes on baffled and running the same spring rates , might just go NA. 🤷🏽♂️
Stay strong bro.

Yeah rear brake to hot
So i know you put twin turbos on a blueprint ls. Did you have the piston rings gapped for boost?
Also where did you get your chin spoiler?
Not a blue print engine
Oh ok I thought it was, my bad.
Where did you get that chin spoiler?
You can hear how off that tune is the whole time
✌💯
Sucky man. I cracked my block at SEMA due to a $1.20 bolt falling out of my blower.
wow
Tell you what though, if I was building a car for optima, it wouldn’t have boost
