I used to charge Marine Street and Horseshoes. But damn! Those waves were fun. Only got one concussion. And that was because I got hammered by a kelp ball. Wedge looks like it would be smart to wear a helmet.

Hey Raw! I bodyboarded the wedge in the late 70s into the 80s/90s and since then as i age my body wont let me charge the barrels like i used to, I’m a tile and stone mason and that kind of work has ravaged my body, so...... what your doing now is awesome.... i live vicariously through your videos, I’m a so cal native and grew up riding south Newport 18TH ST & 15TH ST respectively back when surfers were assholes.. i have two of the first body boards every mass produced 132 B.E models and have been bodyboarding from day one.... which i recon was some time in 1972 or 3 * note i my recollection might be hindered for canabanoidal reasons ....... long story to say I’d dig sitting there on the beach with you next time the wedge is pumping, or you are at what i call, my beach..... Aliso beach, If you think about it let me know.. your commentary is the same voice thats in my head every time i sit and watch the waves... peace and stay well in. This totally messed up Covid19 B/S world we live in now.......
