Futagoyama stable introduced me to Sumo and though I can only see highlights, the January tournament was my first. I was never a sports guy or one to watch it on TV. Then I found their video, the 2 nd video they made, then I only had episode 1 to watch so I had to wait for episode 3! I have no interest in any other sport at all. Watching them is like going to visit family or good friends 😁 it’s comfortable and heartwarming
Can't wait for Futagoyama beya to celebrate on a great tournament. Great to see the younger lower ranks getting winning records. Nabatame and Mita were 💪🏽💪🏽

11-4 after a 1-3 start is really impressive for Nabatame, what wonderful spirit he showed. I hope he can score a similar number of wins next time, it may lead to promotion. I certainly hope he is top division when sumo comes to England, to see Nabatame and Roga would be brilliant. Mita looks very good, maybe he has a chance of promotion after the next tournament too. Thanks for the videos, love keeping up with this brilliant stable.

I'm very impressed by Nabatame-zeki's last fight in this tournament. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Since I've been following the stable at the end of 2023, I've seen him working hard month after month. And now these efforts are bearing fruit. 💪🏼 Here he showed a will to fight hard. And that's what matters. I'm very pleased to see that he has become a favorite of the masses thanks to his amiable nature and respectful way of dealing with his opponents. 🫶🏼 And everyone else has also done their best, especially since one can see clear improvements in their fighting style now. And Mita-san is a real asset to the stable. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Roga-zeki and Kyoda-san a speedy recovery. Thanks for the upload, this tournament was good for the stable...Nabatame fought well against Aonishiki one of the best sumo westler of the moment, his nose was bleeding at the end, that means the battle was hard...
Overall a great basho for the stable🎉..Nabatame gave it all in this final bout also but overall very impressive tournament 11-4🎉..Denuma,Kota,waka and Keiga just missed the winning record but soon it will happen..Soga needs a bit confidence and if his opponents escapes sogas hand thrust then they are winning ..But kudos to all the Rikishis wonderful Basho with 8 winning records🎉
I think he’s probably exhausted from being on tour with Roga, the assistants have a lot of work they have to do, Soga looked exhausted and talked about it previously.

7:32 when I see Aonishiki with Nabatame I’m torn because Nabatame feels like a friend, but I’m also part Ukrainian so 🤷🏼♀️ I remember my Ukrainian grandad watching England vs Ukraine in a football match and I asked him who he wanted to win. He said he was just going to enjoy watching it

At one point, Keiga; Kuwae and Denuma had 3~1 record. Unfortunately for Keiga and Denuma, they lost 3 straight matches afterwards...

若雅さんは間違いなく強くなるお相撲さんだと思っているのですが、雑務等で肉体的にも精神的にもすり減らしている状態で相撲を取っているので力を出し切れていないと感じます
ただ、これも大事な経験で、それが出来る力士だと期待されているからこそそう言った経験を積まされているわけで
今後、彼がどんな状況でも力を出し切れるように成長すれば間違いなく十両に行ける 幕内だって夢じゃないです
それくらい力強く綺麗な相撲を取るお相撲さんです
私はそう思っています
