    Loving that Suntour seatpost. Oh and thanks for the 1X advice, good stuff.

    Riding on wet roads with no fenders and still not a sign of a wet butt. Very clever 😁
    Love the bike, and it’s making me rethink my bullhorn handlebars on my 1980’s Holdsworth. Your bike looks more comfortable.

    Nice 754. I sold a red/white 1989 Schwinn 754 earlier this year on eBay. I don't ride aluminum bikes anymore (or even road bikes), so I ended up selling it. You really gotta inspect those seatposts on the Schwinn Aluminum bikes from that era (too many folks over tightened them, resulting in damage). Thanks for the video.

    The infamous expander wedge seatpost...your's looks to be in good shape with no cracks. Take 'er easy and hopefully it stays that way.
    That black chainring on silver crank goes well with tge dark hard ano rims on silver hubs. Plus, your XT derailleur has a silver and charcoal scheme, so it all looks nice and tidy!

    Black looks good blending in with the rest of your black parts. Always thought these were cool bikes and am tempted.

    Very cool bike. Given the choice on chain rings, I would have picked black. It's a better contrast 👌

    Not sure about where you could find them in your area, but I've found the brand Stridsland who makes various colors of chainrings, including silver. If that can be of any help.

    I'm in the middle of doing 1x conversation (waiting for new chainring) and just curious is your gear ratio enough for you with that casette?

      @DePuesshop  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, it's perfect for the flat terrain around Florida. I have a 42T on the front. If you have more hills, I would go a little smaller up front.

      I already ordered 44t cause I wanna go fast with that bike. So now I confirmed I need bigger casette. 11-42 or 11-46. Thanks@@DePuesshop

    Just convert it back to a 2X. That will solve the chain drop problem and double your gearing. Don’t tell me you lost the ability to shift a front derailleur.

      Haha! I hear you. I was trying to keep this one as simple as possible.
