UK steelbooks on zavvi have 4k & normal blurays in them. Only possible problem is they're $30 a piece but thankfully, they have a US site and will ship to the US too
If you want the HD versions, just get the HD set, there's no reason to drive up the price of the 4K version just for 4 extra disks that those owners will never use

Some people buy the 4K version of a film even if they don't have a 4K tv OR player yet. They're not easy cheap buys. So when they buy a 4K version, they're planning ahead that way they will already own a movie in 4K when they get the player
It's a matter of transition. A lot of people still use Blu-Ray. Some people may even buy the 4k looking ahead despite not owning a 4k Player yet. A lot of titles tend to go out of print. Especially steelbook versions. And then some companies simply keep the special features on Blu-ray rather than moving them over to 4k.
They look awesome! I still have the VHS from my childhood. The DVD's from my teens, the Blu-rays From my 20's and now i know what to ask my gf for my 31st birthday this month. Great review !

I was gonna get this set until I found out it didn’t have blu ray discs with it. That turned me against it. But I did purchase the other box set. I’m waiting for it to be delivered next week. Can’t wait

I think it depends how you view the other two. They certainly aren't as good as the Tim Burton films. But I think the reason the other two are so lampooned is because they are such a tonal shift. The Burton films have a bit of camp in them. But they treat the source material with reverence. Batman and Robin and Batman Forever if viewed through the lens of films that fully embrace the camp feel more like nods to the Adam West and Burt Ward Batman and Robin.
$89 for this? Why when I paid for all 4 on iTunes for much cheaper? Also, no clutter with not booklets or anything to enjoy at least. I just don’t understand the purpose of this.
The thing I don't really get with the Avengers set is...they aren't self contained. They build on multiple films. I mean sure you'd have the 4 avengers films but as a set it seems a bit out of place? They had an entire Infinity Saga which predictably has an astronomical price tag.

Jonny Atom I KNOW! I was waiting for steelbooks because the artwork of the normal 4K releases was also terrible. Turns out, the steelbooks art is just as bad. At least the 4K transfers are good. Even Batman and robin got a good transfer. Except for the first film. The 4K resolution is good. But they colored it WAY to blue. Batman ‘89 has always had a blue tint to it, but this 4K drowned the film in blue.
It really sucks there’s no blu-ray discs in this set. 4k films almost ALWAYS come with blu rays as well

I don’t understand the complaints of not having the blu rays, isn’t the point of buying 4K films to have “better” quality discs over the blu rays?
BboyDJFLIP well because Blu-ray’s are still being used heavily. Just like dvds are still around. Not everybody moved on from Blu-ray’s

If they had included the Bluray with the 4k it would have been a great set to have. I don't understand why this doesn't come with 4K and Bluray.
US zavvi site has each steelbook with 4k & a normal bluray disc. Even though they're from the UK, they'll ship to the US & each disc is region free
