10/10 guide, I was kinda nervous for the quest boss since I was lacking some stats but its considerable weaker so if you want to compare I did it with a glory, rube bolts e and only used a couple of karambwans because I just fully tanked the magic attack in the last phase. My stats were 75 def (+ 1 super def sip), 76 ranged (with one ranging pot sip) and 79 magic. I also used one prayer pot and one sip of super energy so you could bring in more food.

Thank you!! every other guide on this boss sucks this just finally got me the kill!!!! Advice for anyone deffo bring a mage swap and crossbow works better than blowpipe at least for me!
Oh yeah, I thought about mentioning it but the crossbow can't reach the muspah at all its positions even on long-range. You could just sit on the tile to stay safe though!
did with with power ammy, mixed hide, hunter sunlight crossbow, snakeskin shield and 70 range. 4 prayer pots + 2 super energies (ironman life). very easy
get a long range crossbow like zaryte or armadyl cbow, i have same stats and i can shoot muspah halfway across the room with my acb. also the spec from acb increases the chance of specing ruby bolt e special. dont forget to bring lightbearer, it works really well for this boss.
Thanks for the tips! Got it on the second try. For those of you worried about this fight it is much easier than Galvek and Fragment of Seren. I'd say it's about as difficult as Vanstrom Klause.

I used the same equipment with an archer's ring(i), and did it on my third try with 70 range and 76 magic. It can be done by a noob like me lol

Ive always had a tough time dpsing him before the room fills with spikes. Got 99 range and 94 mage, maybe im just shit
I'd make sure you're attacking as often as possible while kiting, it takes a bit to get the rhythm

you need acb or zaryte crossbow for this boss due to its higher attack range. dcb and dhcb wont work well here
can i just entangle and use trident?
Yep absolutely! Trident is pretty hard to get on an iron though so that's why I didn't use it here.
