      @wiredspeaker5658 Год назад

      @@megaultrachicken5676 I bought the Note 8 Pro for my son but it took a drop and the screen cracked a few months back. Redmi was really good about continuing with security patch updates on that device so I'm not surprised you're still able to use it. I had purchased the Mi-9T at the same time (3+ years ago) and Xiaomi stopped all updates on that model long ago yet they kept up on the Note 8 Pro. Continued updates on specific devices probably correlates with higher sales worldwide. I have the Realme GT2 PRO and we bought a Google pixel 7 about the same time 3 months ago. The Pixel has a good camera but the older Xiaomi devices are far superior quality. The Pixel 7 has lousy touch screen response and far too often you have to double and triple tap the screen. The Chinese phones are just so much smoother than Samsung Apple and Google.

    Hello,
    I just wanna ask your opinion. I'm between three options. The first is samsung a52s, second is poco x4 gt and the last is poco f4. I would like a phone with a very good battery life (and to last for a couple of years, I've read about issues with the battery of poco phones after the first year), with a fast processor but with good battery management. I don't care for gaming at all, also I don't care so much about the camera.
    I would appreciate if anyone spent the time to answer me.
    Thanks in advance,

    • @Chrisispoint
      @Chrisispoint  2 года назад +1

      Honestly speaking, all 3 devices are good interms of the battery.
      It just boils down to your preference between
      LCD : POCO X4 GT
      AMOLED : A52s and POCO F4
      Then of course there's the UI either One Ui or MIUi.
      Amongst the 3, the X4 GT has the biggest battery, but because the other two has AMOLED displays, it also consumes less battery in certain situtions.
      And if you're looking for something that would last? This boils down on how you use the actual device on a day to day basis, hopes this helps 🙂

      Between the two that you've mentioned, although the X4 GT is good, I'd still pick the POCO F4.
      in a general sense the Dimensity 8100 virtually performs just as good or slightly less than the Snapdragon 870 on the POCO F4.
      And if you plan on editing videos on your phone, the POCO F4's AMOLED display will give you more accurate colors.
      In terms of gaming, almost 99% of games on the playstore are more optimized and up to date with Qualcomm Snapdragon devices, so you wouldn't go wrong with the POCO F4.

      Probably, though I can't really comment on this subject since this is the first smartphone that I got to try and test that came with the Dimensity 8100, and I don't really focus too much on synthetic benchmarks, so long as it performs as expected, I'm cool with it. 🙂

    Hi! , 😊
    Since this device has a flagship level chipset, can Google Camera enable its 4k 60 fps video recording capability?
    Thanks! 👍🏻

      That would probably depend on the developers of Gcam but technically speaking it should be capable as other smartphones are capable of doing so.

    How is the performance of this phone in the game? Does it get a frame drop in an hour of playing?It hurts. Please be responsive. We need your experience

    • @Chrisispoint
      @Chrisispoint  2 года назад +1

      Depends on the room temperature. I've noticed more visible frame drops when the room is relatively hot and the graphic setting is maxed out.
      Though something worth factoring in is your internet connectivity, not the speed but the traffic of who is using it (if shared wifi) or on mobile data and how good the signal is.

      both devices has their own pros and cons, I think the biggest factor here is the availability of the product itself.
      If both were available, in store, I'd go for the GT Neo 3, mainly because the UI is a lot more lighter than MIUI.

      I would agree on this quite frankly, so it's really a matter of having to decide what is needed versus the cost of what features are included.
      I honestly don't think buyers would flock to this for the video recording but mostly for the gaming aspect plus the cost of the device itself.

    What about battery life?

    • @Chrisispoint
      @Chrisispoint  2 года назад +3

      I don't usually talk about battery life because the lifespan of a device on a single charge may vary depending on the activities done in a day.
      But during my testing, Light to moderate can last me a solid 1-2 days on a single charge. Moderate use (multi tasking, gaming, RUclips, etc), whole day with 10-15% left
      Heavy use, you're gonna need to charge it after 7 hrs.

      @@Chrisispoint One word. software. miui is a garbage software and not intuitive at all. some very basic options are missing and automations also. And don't forget, when you actually use the phone for phone calls, the gazillion pages that are opened in the backround from your ear touching the screen. Not even the sensor can work as it is supposed to work and de-activate the screen. oh and don't let me start about the cameras at the back that are not fully and rigidly attached to the circuit and you can hear them bang if you move your phone up and down or very gently hit with your fingertip the lens. There is always a reason for the low price despite the impressive hardware specs.
