I have no friends, no significant other, no clear pathway in career, no support group. I feel like a shell of myself and struggling with mental health. I am truly alone and stuck. It feels suffocating.

I’m in college & have been working on myself spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically. I do feel stagnant, I haven’t been doing homework as I should. I’ve been doing nothing for a whole month. Falling behind. I feel disconnected but I didn’t take into consideration how transformative the inside is right now in my current state. I hope for everyone going through whatever it may be, I hope you prosper & grow through this. 💕

Brilliant. I am fascinated with the concept that "what feels like stagnation may be resistance to the moment." The idea that I am creating stagnation by wanting things to be other than they are, really stuck a chord with me. Thank you for posting.
I have found that people with many material things are no happier than those without them. Each persons' happiness is their own.
I legit cried whilst watching this, i am a empath and living with a Narcissist parent with my children. And my spiritual journey feels like the hardest I've ever been through. I really dont no who i am anymore.

I am going through this now and i find it very hard. The "Old Alan" is gone in many ways. I find unlike before, i dont want to do much. I used to be so busy and engaged with all my art projects but now, not really able to execute the plenty ideas. Not interested in visiting people, which i understand. I dont want to be entertained with small talk. I wonder about the future. I realize i must allow this nothingness to unfold without judgements- just as you well describe.

Like everyone word.. I connected to. Woah. Thank you. Your right... I've experienced a glimpse of pure enlightenment.. I felt and saw and was love to everything and everyone. The chair I sat on, i felt love towards it and connection. I dodnt feel anger or sadness it was the best but weirdest weirdest 3 weeks of my life!!!! Then it stopped .. anger surfaced again... boredom, restlessness, worthlessness appeared.. so thank you good soul. I will be still...

I'm really lost because I don't know what I'm doing... For life or a career
I know it goes deeper than that.
I have lost myself and therefore way way around my own life.
My values, my voice and inner desires.
I have been trained all my life to please or live up to someone else's standards..
Now they expect you to find what you want? When you've been doing what everyone else wants for 15 years?
No wander so many of us are confused.
I am driving myself sick with worry and anxiety.
Because I can't find anything I see that I'd like to do.
I'm tired of money and status, those are empty goals.
I want to die knowing I did something good.
Something that made this world a little less messed up than how it is and always will be...
I have felt that stuck lately, at this kind of crossroads in life and also restless as well. Just listening to this again has helped with some perspective that has been needed for me. Thank you!
Well said.. Spiritual journey is razor edge path..In this present world of affairs it's almost impossible to have focused mind unless you give up this world and find solitude and sometimes that will cause u more depression
That's so right, stay collapsed, and dare not to know where we're going and what to do, the growth in this state, is too subtle for the intellect, and an enemy, never mind let howl in dis contentment, its not truly us anyway, very good lesson from this man, and so vital and important!

Go yolo mines on a more emotional basis. I was stuck on someone I couldn’t be with and couldn’t come to terms with it... not sure but I think I’m slowly coming through accepting things for what they are even though I really don’t know what they are and what exactly happened just coming to terms with everything has been a real struggle for me.
In terms of finding purpose in life I’m pretty much still lost on this one, maybe it’s a case of whatever we choose to make. I’m choosing my daughter and going to try and build everything else around my relationship with her. X

I feel tired without doing anything.
I just spend my days in my room with my own self. For others I don’t do anything. I’m lazy. That makes me so painful.

But i have an answer( i am understanding myself and everything)
No proofs to show... sometimes i am doubting on myself, wanna change my lifestyle, but keep staying with my parents.

I feel like my cocoon phase is taking too long. I would kinda be okay with it otherwise but my health has been off. Hard times getting enough sleep, i get agitated etc. I feel like i have to work intensely on my spirituality to keep sane, but it gets too much for me. I just can't keep meditating all day.
it sounds like you've been trying too hard and need to let go of even the idea of being on a spiritual path which is creating attachment and craving... as the good man in this video says...just be in the moment and allow it to happen without expectation...
I have absolutely no idea who this guy is. And I'm stunned at the timeliness of my listening to his message. And the wisdom of his words. Whoever you are . . . what you are saying here means everything to me at this particular stage of my life. I bookmarked this to hear it as many times as I need to feel the enormous comfort in my heart from the first listening.

It is hard to not do anything especially when in the past I've always been active.
. I have low motivation but it seems that when I try to do specific things...they dont work out....them I get frustrated.

This happen to me. One night I closed my eyes and some point after, I..... seen this vine. It was up on a wall and it seems my spirit slowly floated up to it. I grabbed ahold of it and I was a caterpillar.
I climbed up it at the same pace I floated to it. I turned upside down and cocooned myself to it.
Then all sense of time stoped. And I felt strong feeling of love, Comfort , coziness. I felt like this was it. I’m back and I don’t need anything else.
There is a lot more to this, it’s vary deep and a lot to explain. At this point I’m lost and don’t know what to do. I’m glad it happen and I will never forget this. Not a day goes by that I do t think about it. I felt like i was nothing but pure consciousness of existence.
Wish someone had the answers for me. Great video.

We have no power.. All things come from God, Jesus loves you so much Lin! That He died for you so that you could have everlasting life in Him! You are forgiven if you repent and choose to be with Him. he is the source of all life and all good, He is good to those who honour Him. He is waiting with open arms. He loves you, In HIM there is power! LOVE YOU!!!

Ty for this. I'm in this situation. I quit my job 6 months ago. I am in a spiritual awakening. I've unlocked some gifts I'm still developing. Yet I don't know where to go from here. As you stated, I don't have a pull to do one specific thing. I've heard others try to push me in one direction or another. The more they try I resist. They mean well, but it's not their journey. I'm going to take your advice and judt surrender myself.

I feel inspired but overwhelmed at the same time. The process of metamorphosis (accomplishing my task) sometimes feels slow especially in the present day of instant gratification. I have many goals I want to achieve to reach my so called self-actualization but since the end looks so far away from the start I become discouraged. Thank YOU for this word of advice.

Does that mean we shouldn't take any action?
@@notavailable708 good question. I’m not sure. All I know is, don’t fight the process. If you don’t pursue anything because you have no desires, and just flow with life, then that may be considered surrendering to the process.

That's me for the last copple of years, I seem inactive, no idea what to do with myself, can do stuff and get busy with things but I lost my passions and direction. Today I was bored and restless and tried to stay with these feelings, i could do things but could not figur out what, felt tired but could not rest and or even deside to rest. Feelings of anger came and feeling really sad....Thanks for this talk, it helpes to understand were i am now.

Thank you and I know this is very old but I knew I needed to talk.
I have felt really stagnant. I’ve always been a female who is doing man work to take care of my son. I’m getting my butt kicked at work, financially, 47 and never married. Already given up on relationships I’m totally fine with it but I don’t know if that’s healthy. It’s an auto pilot that I’ve been going through.
I have a decent home and usually getting my butt kicked to keep everything balanced. It’s like I’m throwing little bits and pieces but never really what I truly feel like deserve or can achieve what I’m trying to achieve maybe I should say. I don’t feel like I’m being rewarded for the effort I’m putting in and I’m trying to keep the word reward out but maybe that’s what I’m waiting for.
I talk to spirit and surrender myself and I know they’re there.
I know there’s more but can’t help but feel stagnant to remind me so thank you
