Have you heard of a way to alter labradorite to lighten the flash colors? To mimic the ‘new’ more light purple or lavender colored labradorite from Madagascar? I was asked by a customer if our ‘lavender’ lab was real or heated to look lighter… I had never heard of this w lab

I wish they wouldn't dye Labradorite.. it's NOT that I'm against certain types of gem treatments,but I feel like Labradorite stands out on its own in its NATURAL state
My favorite is purple,but l love it all.

Not sure if you are checking for comments since this is an older video, but I'm wondering if the plethora of carved lab pieces we are seeing are treated somehow? I think I saw somewhere that it might be stabilized, but there doesn't seem to be much info out there. Thanks!

The one that I’m curious about is the blue-green one on the shelf behind you. I saw it on Instagram shop that claimed to be ‘Labradorite’. I’m wondering if it’s real Labradorite or some other type of stone. It looks so beautiful!

I think it possibly could be real BUT... This is a Fake Background. And I can tell this background was created. What I mean by created is that she basically got pictures of crystals and placed them on this background that is displaying books. And isn't Literally behind her. It's fake, almost like how someone can use a green screen. Not saying that it is a green screen. But I can tell it's fake. The crystals look too vibrant and sharp vs. The bookshelf background. The rose quartz on the right is obviously enlarged and not real. If you notice Under the labradorite that's in the background... Look right underneath it. You can see that it's not literally correctly placed on the shelf lol. It's like in mid-air. Because you can see the bottom of the books that are in the background. Hope that makes sense. And that clear quartz looks really fake and was enlarged as well. I do photo editing. So I can tell pretty easily when something is manipulated such as this fake, edited background with the edited Photoshop like placed crystals. That's added to it .. and maybe that's why she didn't answer your question. Cuz it's not really her background. Hope that helps tho. 😊
