How We Make Labradorite Free-Form Carvings

- Our Labradorite comes from the south of Madagascar, an area with the highest concentration of the material in the world, which produces amazing high-flash material. Also known as Spectrolite, due to the many brilliant colors of flash (called the Schiller Effect), Labradorite requires specialized cutting techniques to properly reveal the crystals within each stone.
That's where our skilled carvers come in. Our Malagasy team takes solid chunks of Labradorite and transform them into breathtaking works of art. Many of them have been with us since we started in the early 90s, perfecting their technique every day.
We also offer Labradorite in rough forms in a variety of qualities (cabochon-grade, block rough, gem decor rough) in any quantity. To order, please see www.madagascarminerals.com, call 520-882-8884 or email sales@madagascarminerals.com.
DISCLAIMER: Please do not try this at home! Creating these boulders requires exceptional training and skills, and the utmost attention to safety.
I've bought many stones from them and every one has been outstanding. Kudos to those people who bust their butts to produce such beauty.
Sure you did. What's the link...
One of my favorite stones .
Labradorite
-most powerful crystal to sheild misfortune
-magical and spiritual, for intuition and connecting to higher realms
-used for synchronicities.. being at the right place at the right time
It needs first to be cleansed, charged and programmed properly
Those guys work hard and do a beautiful job.
Beautiful work friend
Beautiful stone I’ve got few pieces
Stunning craftsmanship but I get very nervous watching their bare hands and the circular saw
A glove could get snagged and instead of a cut in their finger or a chipped nail, they could lose a hand or worse before someone turns the thing off.
Can anybody explain to me what the final step in the process is? What is the bath that the stones are getting in that large crock-pot? Is it some sort of sealant or resin coating?
Batu favorit saya❤😊
❤❤❤muy bella 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What do you use in the cooker ?
That's probably wax
@@scottcourtright8971 guess to be a fracture sealer, would love to know if wax or oil? Looked pretty low viscosity, nice looking shine after😁👍
Great video, But why there’s no audio though..
Because it would consist of a screaming power saw slicing through solid rock.
