This is the full version of the Kyrgios Bernardes clash at the 2022 Miami Open as the one on the main channel was heavily cut out.
The funny thing is that Nick does all the (unnecessary) talking, not the umpire.
I know the video is all about nick and Bernardes but pay attention to Sinner... He didn't care about it any point, a strong mentality like a top player in the world
That’s why he is and will be one of the best for years and Kyrgios is and always be nothing but a crazy clown
To be honest. When you are competing, you see your opponent losing his mind. You just take the popcorn out and just watch it.
Sinner definitely did not mind that his opponent was self-destructing. Less work for him to do.
Sinner is the reason we watch this sport.not Kiros
@@MilanAC1987 He’s actually a very talented player who will never achieve what he could have because of his temperament.
It’s crazy how different Nick is off the court. He did some good commentary over the last week or so at the Australian open. As entertaining as he is to watch when he’s playing, perhaps he’s better off not being on the tour because this kind of behaviour is disgusting. I don’t mind the odd laugh or bit of emotion shown but he was nothing but a bully and a child in this match and he’s done it many times before this too.
I really wonder if he reflects on his behaviour and thinks to himself "gosh I was really awful to that umpire" the way he spoke to him was honestly disgusting
He’s a loser. He should be DQd for his pathetic, childish behaviour.
You could exactly be describing John McEnroe, who is one of the most articulate and likeable commentators but in his career was one of the most deplorable brats you can imagine
@Xavi-Cam You know McEnroe personally then.
Once was an eshay, always will be an eshay. Not saying that all eshays are bad people - I've met some really nice guys before, but the majority of them are a bad bunch.
"What is actually wrong with you?" Kyrgios definitely was asking himself...
That's the plot twist, he was talking to himself the whole time without realising it, then he was really confused when the umpire started penalising him
With Nick's ego, the only things he says to himself are compliments.
He's just a spoiled brat, should have been disqualified the way he acted throughout
Most of these guys are. Their parents use them for financial gain. They are just pawns.
@@16dwrecknot nicks family tho do some research on him first
Keeping him in the match is the worst thing for him. He wants a default so he can avoid the reality that he is not and never once has been as good as his fans want to believe he is. Losses absolutely shatter his little ego, that's why he tries to deflect from his own lack of success with childish tantrums.
@@neelharrison3439 he beat the big 3 tho. You can’t possibly be playing the same level he is so who are you to judge and criticize when you’ve never been where he is and lost. Just sayin your being very once sided here. He was a brat at first but you can clearly see he’s matured to an extent. I garuntee you wouldn’t say that stuff to his face if given the chance.
Kyrgios is bad example for the kids in the sport of tennis 😢
The Miami crowd is as bad as Kyrgios for choosing to side with him. Don't be a disrespectful prat.
Kyrios is his own worst enemy
are you kidding? Bernades is our enemy man.
@@MrChesspiritopay some respect to Carlos and grew up. Only clown here is Kyrgios and all others supporting his madness.
I'm all for chaos, and I enjoy what Nick brings (or doesn't bring 😶) to any given match.
But he should've been defaulted.
Absolutely. Carlos was struggling internally but i really hope refs will disqualify this behaviohr in future. Even though Nick was right with a lot in the beginning.
I know that Nick's behaviour is not the best, but man, Carlos Bernardes it is the worst umpire in tennis. First with Nadal, in this video with Nick and then with Alcaraz
Tennis is an elegant sport. An elite sport. There’s no room for clowns like kyrgios or for “chaos”
@MilanAC1987 Sure there is. Just depends on how you get it.
@@thebigsquirrel50 in my personal opinion sports like snooker, tennis etc must stay away from all the clowns like Balotelli, kyrgios fognini etc .. they don’t bring anything to the sports and they ruin matches like this one. Sinner was so professional and quiet but another player could have lost his match because of this continue talking of kyrgios . And ask yourself why when there’s a problem in tennis 95% of the time is kyrgios , tsitsipas, fognini … I really like to watch playing tennis and not seeing 🥎🏸 smashed on the ground and chatterbox like him
This was over the line on nick’s part.
Pritty insane that he gets to commentate on the australian open right?
@jayizanu5990 average Kyrgios fan
@jayizanu5990why react like a 5 year old in stead of holding a normale discussion? 🙄
@jayizanu5990he didn't make any spelling mistakes
Normale is normal in other languages and he butter fingered a spacebar press in instead. Those aren't spelling mistakes
@jayizanu5990 don’t change the subject little boy. We were talking about good manners, not about a spelling contest. Another move from a 5 year old.
The biggest clown in tennis, not the referee.
Kyrgios, a bully, toddler, and a Karen all rolled into one.
If it was me on that chair, Kyrgios would've been disqualified, insubordinate and immature behaviour! Get out and go home and cry to your momma
ironically, tsitsipas was right when he said nick is just a bully. guy's boring and mid.
Kyrgios is such a child. A baby even...
Grab your popcorn fellas, The Nick Circus is on display
Typical Nick. Never been good enough on court so he has to deflect by blaming literally anyone he can. Deeply insecure little guy
Except he is good enough on court, that's nonsense, one doubles grand slam under his belt, final at Wimbledon and beat all of the big three on his first meeting with each of them, yes he sometimes had a bad attitude but that doesn't mean he's crap at tennis.
@@Jeremy-f3s 7 titles in 10 years, never once entered the top 10. He just wasn't good enough.
@@neelharrison3439 He was 13, hardly far off and he currently has a protected ranking of 20 provided he plays within the next year so er yeah he's definitely good enough.
@@neelharrison3439 don't think the title count works in Nick's case. Winning a doubles slam being primarily a singles player and reaching a slam final doesn't merit saying he isn't good enough. He's massively talented and works out when needed. It's only his mindset and his injuries what prevent him from being at the top draw. It's only something mental and the fact that he doesn't view tennis as the Big 3 do
@@guillerpuebla If he physically was capable of achieving more he would have. He has always melted down on court because he knows its a useful excuse to disguise the fact that he just never had it in him in the first place.
Nick needs a mirror
Nick would complain about the mirror not himself.
“It’s a joke… it’s embarrassing… “ Kyrgios should be talking this way to himself..
Kyrgios was a disgrace for tennis. No matter how good you are, you ruin everything with this kind of behavior.
wow going absurdly crazy over nothing and can't control himself and throwing a tantrum, cussing and harassing the umpire too much. I wouldn't be surprised if the umpire would get hotheaded and come down to punch him man. The way he talks shit, acts like he did nothing wrong, gaslights you as if you were the problem why he is losing, and then constantly belittles you like you are below him... This is insane. I hope he quits the sport.
It's stuff like this that gives us Aussies a bad name due to kids like this. There needs to be consequences for Kyrgios
If only he has channelized all this energy to his game!
As right as Nick was in this case (i genuinly think he had a fair point, bc the walkie talkie thing was actually unacceptable), he shouldve been defaulted easily. I dont know what it is about these refs, if they have a rule they cant default somebody like Nick bc of the big crowds or anything. Btw: I am a big fan of his, but there are 3-4 of his matches he should´ve been defaulted just bc he kept trashtalking and insulting in an unacceptable way.
i agree on the walkie talkie part but you have to realize that it's not the umpires fault. someone else from the staff wrongly used that channel, maybe it has to be turned on in case of any emergency
Not enough to be defaulted considering people payed good money to see Nick play. I've seen McEnroe call the umpire a cocksucker and only get a point penalty plus the whole bad boy thing is good for tennis.
How is it the umpire's fault when it was someone else who used the wrong channel?
@@cw9282 I am not saying its specifically his fault but what i am saying is that Kyrgios complaining about "how is this possible in a tournament like Miami" is right. I am playing competitive tennis myself and i can say that some disturbing noise and forced break like this is super super rhythm breaking. And in a tournament like that it should not happen.
@@Stratisfied22 Half of myself agrees on that, you have a point. But where do you draw the line in terms of verbally abusing the umpire? Bc somebody like NIck who just keeps going at him over and over and over again in my opinion is very disrespectful in the moment and also very unsportsmanlike.
Don't abuse the chef until after you have eaten the meal.
7:07 too good means when the ball cant be returned or touched right?
correct
Sinner would always crush a fake player
Kyrgios is such a clown , deeply problematic person. He should have been banned from playing tennis for life. Congrats to Sinner !!!
Agree with you 100%
No reason to ban him
@@redfordreddington8834 haha much more than one reason in multiple occasions.
@@redfordreddington8834"no reason" 🤡
no wonder even Aussies don't like Kyrgios. What an ass... Disregarding if ref is in fault or not, he tried to Insinuate the crowd to hate on the ref. That's the lowest of the low. I have no sympathy for him.
Agree 100%
@@clearsky4003 Even the worst "bad boy" McEnroe never insinuate anyone to go against the umpire. That's just low and pathetic.
Nick was never like this as a junior. I really dont think he has the coping mechanism's to deal with all the fame and pressure of being a pro.
sinner would never complain about anything and just focus and play tennis. Nick is just a clown, just shut and learn from a 20 yo boy (now 22)
Nick is just a coward with a lousy mouth.
If you have something against the umpire, say it in his face. Looking away from the umpire and say it loud is such a cowardly action.
He wore a red cap getting into the court of wimbledon final, but dared not to wear it in play. Chicken!
Good on bernardes for giving him a point penalty. Calling out a bully
If someone isn't a gentleman by the age of 21, they never will be.
Kyrgios is the worst standard brarer for tennis that there has ever beenhe is a petulant thug and should be banned from all professional appearances.
Why did his mother not step in with his mental illness?
He just showed how weak his mental game is. No great player has become great with a weak mind
This is what happens when you never hold immature babies accountable for anything they do.
Thank God Kyrgios no longer plays tennis....what a disgrace!!!
If Nick wants to be an actor he should do that.
He seems to need a ton of attention.
I reckon he'd be a lot happier, focusing on tennis and getting into the top 10 which he's fully capable of doing.
its a match you don't want to be a tennis player
I’ve tried to see the good with Kyrgios…but I think I’m done with that. Hey may be a good person off the court, but he is just the worst type of toxic on the court. I’ll probably use him as an example to my kids of what talent with no poise or grit looks like.
Entitled fool, Kyrgios is, not taking responsibility and whining nonstop, placing blame on the umpire for his own mistakes and terrible character
Physically, emotionally, spiritually and emotionally damage......
Carlos also in the chair when Novak screaming the crowds vs popyrin
I hear one of them just won the Australian Open...
that would be sinner here
Sinner were example in this match and play like a champion, Krygios were a clown like he's always is, and always protected by the media and mainly by the tennis fans who defended him
This only shows how mentally strong is Sinner, that's why on the top with the best; and how Kyrgios is immature and blames his surroundings of his failures.
Another trouble maker like John Mac, then gets easy life as commentator at Wimbledon because people feel sorry for his upbringing.
Nick is such an immature hot head. Love to see him lose and throw temper tantrums.
Its a shame hes such a brat on court because kyrgios has/had so much potential. One of the most naturally talented players. He clearly has some demons.
"did anyone come here to see him today?" Now Sinner is world number 4, already achieved more than Kyrgios at 22, and is in the semi finals in his own land, while Kyrgios is holding the mic for Novak. Love it.
I won't think he aimed that at Sinner
im pretty sure he meant the ref. not sinner.
Bad take dude, gotta delete this asap
they were booing the umpire??
I miss seing him play so much
by far the most entairtaining player in the tour
I would love to see Nick apologize for some of the shit he does. I understand some people can’t control their outbursts as well as others but after everything’s over, just apologize and try to make things right.
Kyrgios: The biggest what-if in Tennis history
Should be banned from Tennis, what a joke this man is.
Agree with you 100%
Shut up Karen
When I need an uplift to my day, I watch a Kyrgios meltdown. 😂
same here
I was on the crow, i swear i was booing you Nick. Don't play this game... Play tennis !
Agassi, once, lost the whole match by cussing. Please remind himself that.
NGL... This was fun to watch
My fault to watch something from this kyrgios
kyrgios wouldn't be talking like that if he was winning
I'm a massive fan of Nick's, but this is straight up bullying from him here.
Typical Aussie behavior. Bullying and sledging!!!
Take his money away and this person will get the rest
no human being will ever watch nick kyrgios matches ever again. pity the opponent players. get lesser view because of him
As much of a hothead Nick is, Bernandes acted rather unprofessional here and he bit the bait by arguing with the player. I think many umpires would have handled this way better and Bernandes is known for other controversies
He just keeps on yapping
mr. kyrgios you would be fired right on the spot if you behaved this way in a regular work environment. why don't you shut up and play the game?
Nick "Jonah Takalua" Kyrgios
Both sides are in the wrong: kyrgios
shouldn't have been hounding at him like
that for the whole match. While bernardes,
who had his walkie talkie loud, could've
muted and most of all, he gave nick a point
penalty for saying something to his friend
about him doing a better job at being an
umpire, which was too unreasonable
Nick you have alot to learn.everyone has been through your struggles.so understanding you are not special yet you are ?im an ex tennis player and you made me want to spew up as an Aussie, yeah you were embarrassing.stick to commentating as you need help mate
Que haces ese energumemo jugando todavi al tenis?
Yannik too cold 🥶
im embarrassed to be from the same country as that turkey. What a waste!
Kyrgios is such a spoiled brat. I just hope he will never come back.
The clock is ticking on Kyrgios mediocre career. He had the skill to have a great one. He won’t be missed.
I'd love to know what you do for work to classify making 8 figures in less than 10 years as "mediocre."
Mediocre career? Interesting. What percentage of sportsmen or women have achieved what he has? He’s definitely in the top 5 and maybe in the top 1%.
Nick is right. Bernardes sucks. Could not do his job.
I honestly think hes got mental or anger issues, hes so unpleasant to watch
Kyrgios is a true embarassment to the sport. He needs to retire and move on to whatever else
one messy match
Ahh i love nick!! 😂 entertaining at its best
Nick, the ultimate disgrace to tennis.
When ur actually playing the game (any sport) ,frustration raises quickly
Understand
king
I wonder if Kyrgios fans are fans of Serena Williams
When you've got problems with so many referees, you're the problem buddy..What a wuss
Bernardes is full of his own ego he forgets his job at times: it's not about him but about the game. His role is to provide the best background for the game to happen.
Nick was 1000% right here, Bernardes was acting like a clown
@@GeneralP123 There's still a way to do it.
It ain't gotta be perfect, and heck, it can be in the typical Kyrgios way, but even this was excessive.
@@thebigsquirrel50 Or Bernardes can do his job and avoid criticism.
@@GeneralP123 Bernardes wasn't doing his job, granted, but there was no need for nick to antagonize him, carry on and even call him a slur. He should have absolutely been defaulted because of this behaviour
@@GeneralP123 Or even if he doesn't do his job right you can still treat him respectfully.
Nick is what makes tennis fun to watch, and he very gifted too to top it off. Awesome video and game.
Some people like circuses and clowns. FairPlay
even rafael nadal complained about carlos bernades in australia open, he said he will ask for not being judged by him, one of worst umpire
Punk
is it against the rules to talk about the umpire? if not, then anyone defending Carlos totalitarian "don't talk" "just play" should be ashamed. kyrgios should just shut up and play lol?
the ending portion in 2nd set was overboard tho.
He has mental health issues, a really talented player but just cannot control himself. I think he likes being rude and arrogant.
Hey Nick give up you’re never going to win a major
What a clown....
Is it me or does he come across really camp 💅
Nick Kyrgious is a model sportsman.
Nick é um jogador irrelevante no tennis, que fez fama apenas por ser um jogador polemico e nada mais!!!
If Nick would had grown up he would be the goat, ez.. #1 waste of a talent.😢
Kyrgios has such a weak mentality. That's why he won't be successful in the sport.
