- This is the biggest and most progressive MTB playground video yet. We set out to build an entire dirt jump line in one video and ride all of them. So this video is packed with build lapses, riding POV footage, FPV drone shots, crashes and building more epic mountain bike trails at this cool backyard location. What should we name the new set of dirt jumps? This is the best looking MTB and BMX trails we've built so far! Enjoy

You should do some sort of ‘golden ticket’ where there are tickets in random helfare orders and the lucky people who get one get an opportunity to ride at the playground with you for a day.

The new section should be called “Twin Peaks”. Bit of a skiing reference which follows the theme of random sports at the playground. Also ties in nicely because, well they’re twins and to get to them you need to climb a peak.. aka the step up!

That final landing looks like what is called a "cattle catcher" on the front of old trains. And I can't wait to see you run trains through that line.
Great idea, but “Cow Catcher” seems better. Might be because I’m American, but it is less of a mouthful
Can we just appreciate how good Jamie actually is! It might not seem like it in a train with a pro mtbiker and semi-pro bmx/filmer but I bet most people in the comments section, myself included wouldn't hit those jumps.

That Final landing needs to be called "THE SNOW PLOUGH"so the new section should be snow related. Call the new section " THE RESORT" as there are so many options and fun things for you guys to do.

The two jumps in the middle should be called the drift since they drift apart from one another as well as it relates to a snow drift
It looks more like a cow catcher on an old steam train than a snow plow.

Oh I do. I had 4 trees taken down in my backyard this year, but didn't pay the extra to have the stumps removed. I then spent weeks and years off my life chopping it up with an axe, and then the unbelievable shovel loads to remove all the excess. Never again. These guys are in a great endurance shape that I've never been, nor ever will be again as I'm 44.
Laughed so hard through this, can't tell you guys enough how nice your chemistry is. Don't ever change guys! Also, that alley-oop a lá Ben is one of the prettiest moves in cycling, man's got his way with that trick.

Best set of jumps yet in my opinion! Some times I think Matt tries to squeeze to much into small areas and it makes the trails awkward to ride.
And I get his trying to make some cool different features. But sometimes I’d love for him to just do classic lines done well!
This place is coming along a treat!
New features look like a sand castle, potential name for that section maybe “the sandcastle”. This is probably my favourite series on RUclips and I don’t even ride bikes. Keep up the great work man you’re crushing it

The new line should be called “The plateau” because it flattens out on the hill. You should also start building lines in the trees it would be really fun and you wouldn’t have work in the sun as much . I’ve also noticed how you guys don’t ride the Side berm into A hip sort of thing that’s off of the mainline anymore. Love seeing the dedication to the videos keep it up!

Hey Matt and Ben, I love the Playground series. Firstly, can you please add another berm and a pump bump at the end of mainline so you can get back up the hill to drop into the quarter pipe. And two please make more of the transfer line that in this video. I loved in the backyard series when you were looking for transfers and gaps. 🤙

Those last landings look a lot like a cowcatcher (that thing at the front of a lot of locomotives, especially steam ones). The line could potentially be train or locomotive themed. Rad video as always!

the latest landing looks just like a cowcatcher, the grille on the front of a lot of trains... Which would push towards a rail/train theme for that new section. The Playground is looking absolutely insane though, keep up all the hard work as it's paying off massively.

The last landing should be called the "Snow Plow" because that's exactly what it looks like. And the line should be snow theme named because the transitions totally remind me of snow board and skiing parks.

Trail challenge, when they harden up, take off from one of the final new take offs and manual across the top of the V lander and back into the other take off. Reckon Matts got it in 10!
Best shovel bomb sequence yet. What an amazing job boys. Jamie and Ben are riding so well right now.
I like the idea of calling the new section "The Great Pyramids" because from some angles all those peaks next to each other look like them, amazing work guys loving the series 👌

I think a great name would be "The Double Helix" as if you trace the lines through the crossover from both sides it looks like a DNA helix.
Been waiting all day for this, my Sunday is now complete 🙌 I was gonna say in a couple of vids ago you mentioned that you wanted some just that was like a straight run of just biggish jumps 1 after another might be a good idea 💡

I don't know if there's a right way to say this but you guys are dirt wizards. The latest line looks fantastic, the whole playground looks fantastic. I have no idea how you craft such good looking, well behaved jumps. Sooooo good
The new part should be called “banana split” because it splits off into two parts (left and right) you should also make a part that extends off the landing that splits into two paths (left side being the 720 berm that goes in between the “banana split” and ( the right side being the path to the area into the bowl up ahead
You could call the new section "The Terminal" because it's where you get "higher" (like flying in a plane), and where you do "transfers" (like transferring planes), and you could expand this and have a sky/plane theme for lines in that area, given the height aspect.
I feel the new section should be called, “The Rollercoaster” because the takeoff send you up then the landing to takeoff sends you up again and then back down just like a rollercoaster.
My line suggestion is the train track. The landing looks like the front of a train (google called it a cow catcher). plus it’s a track that you can run trains with your mates. Lookin sick

I reckon the new section should be called “ double duo” as there’s 2 doubles and 2 lines. I think it just fits and works for the line, and now it’s built. Awesome job anyways keep up these new awesome massive builds looking good Matt.
I think the “Terminal” would be a cool name with so many options in such a small space. People can punch their tickets and take whatever line they board. ALL ABOARD! 🚂

The new section should sort of fly with the whole “Playground” name and use the name of features at a child’s playground. Since it over looks everything at the playground, I’d call the newest part the “Swingset” since more than one person can use it and you can boost to the highest amount. Love the vids! Legends.

equator is the 2 equals separation, and the hermitshperes are the line spliting Left or Right from the equator.

I know you said you need a new theme but to continue on with the golf theme, you should call it the 19th hole.
As that’s where you have the most fun with your friends after 18 holes.
Sitting back with a few drinks and talking, laughing with your mates and that’s the vibe I’m getting from this particular line.
This section gives me like race section vibe you can have a line where two people race I think that would really be a cool admission to playground and fits the name well

Something big and fast and Slope style like. And a straight pump line for speed, 3 or 4 rollers. Unreal builds. Killer work.
Last sections definitely a snow plow epic!
Make a 180 berm after the last jumps to the left and then make a lil racer going straight back to a left hip that then goes through the landing of the first jump after the step up (with the wood feature) and that already is a straight path that has no trees in the way, plus could have a great opportunity to make a chill whale tale feature after that

Hey Matt, build a volcano jump/ ramp out of dirt, would be sick for 1 ramp spitting into heaps of lines as bc of its 360 degree face. This could be a cool feature to hip or transfer and would be very unique

I'd call the new section the splitting arrow. Because it looks straight forward run with splitting off too a looking arrow head at the end. Looks awesome
Would love to see two lines come off of the arrow-head landing, one to the left pumps up to the top of that hill, resets you and sends you on a set of 2-3 proper trick jumps to session. Trail to the right continues the theme of sideline, stays low and flowy with more options and unique features that would allow you to do clean runs. Maybe even throw in a drop in point, add some manual pads and possibly a rail to make a sick little BMX section that you can launch around on a full rig too! Would also love to see the primo-pit eventually become a bowl once you're done quarrying it, could be sick for Ben. Final note: if you do make a pump line to the left that sets up to the top of the hill, see if you can ride it backwards, either hip the arrowhead or jump back into the two options and use the hip landing after the nollie pad step up as a take off for a landing between the quarter and racer allowing you to get back into the quarter easily and if you can sustain enough speed, even make it back up to do the sideline again in a crazy infinite loop! Absolutely love watching this series, loved watching the lockdown one too! Would love to see you and other rides be able to pull some proper trick stuff at the playground - Suitable for all abilities, from unfit to pro-athlete, from red face to red-bull! Peace!!!

I think the best name should be the "Mini Golf Course". Since you said this line is more mellow than the other lines, it is like how mini golf is more mellow than regular golf
All this talk about how good it looks etc. (and it does look amazing) but for me the highlight has to be the shovel and explosion gag....I love how you guys stepped it up a notch in this vid! Genuine laugh out loud moment for me today. I just wish that this wasn't on the opposite side of the world for me as I would give anything to get a chance to ride here and learn from Matt.
New line should be 'snow' related. You can have the 'ski jump', followed by the 'snow plough'. That wedge double landing looks like a snow plough with the 4 wheels being the 4 hips. Really great feature.
This can lead into all sorts: 'The slalom', 'Moguls', 'Off piste', 'black diamond', 'the air bag'... could be some cool features! keep it up guys.

I want to see a series where you go to people's houses and build jump lines in their garden. Like Ground Force. Probably a business there tbf.

An idea for you - Add a coping to your quarter. I made a dirt quarter years ago and just added a length of 50mm tube with some steel spikes welded to it to hold it into the dirt. preserved the lip really well and the quarter didn't have to be as steep to get the pop and helped with the erosion.

Since the flat area with the two landings and jumps at the end of sideline seems like it would be fun for trains, maybe call it "The Train Yard"
The way the jumps are lined up next to each other is also similar to how train cars would be lined up next to each other in a train yard.

Name suggestion: “The stitches” I’m thinking “the stitches” because it gives that vibe and it’s like a new stitch like a new section.

For the continuation of the line steep floaty jumps would be fun and keep a good rhythm of they are given steep landings and smooth transitions with one or two rollers in between every other or every third jump. Idea two, my preference, you make a catch berm after the whale tails which you could jump over (takeoff in the middle of the berm like a funky wall ride) or throw yourself back into a chill connecting route back to the other lines.
Additionally for the areas name you could use “The Hills” because of the areas flat nature which is forcing y’all to build massive mounds of dirt for the jumps. You could name sequence’s after mountain ranges and stand-alone features could be named after iconic individual mountains such as Denali, K-2, Kilimanjaro, etc…
Would love to see another Max invite. He’s super techy. Him and Theo would be fun.
You should call the new section the bee hive. Because of the hexagon. And multiple lines etc. Keep it up Matt!!!

Line should be called “The Splits” because not only does the line split into 2, but if you bail and land center face of the end landing… we can all imagine how that would end. so much potential though. love the videos they are inspiring keep up the good work 🤝🤙🏽
New line has got to be snow related as you've essentially built a massive snow plough at the end (which looks amazing!). The piste? On piste, off piste, get piste?! Ski cross, piste basher? Lots of mountain, snowboard and ski references 🏂⛷️❄️☃️🏔️😎
The new section is just insane looking and I would love to ride it. I think you should call it FROZEN ROPE, A frozen rope is a hard line (like the one you built ) drive hit directly to the outfield (this line goes away from the other lines) by the batter. The straight trajectory of the jump resembles the name-"a frozen rope."
The formation and close proximity of the jumps reminds me of an aerobatic display… this could be your opportunity to join / ride along with the “Red Arrows”

Its already the Side Line and what has sidelines? A football pitch. What you've got there are the left and right wings leading up to the striker. Also fits the sports theme with golf and surfing lines.
So much you can do after the split landing, You can do a berm left and right with a jump in the middle to over. Also if you go right is there potential for a line right back to the beginning. So many lines to choose

Matt you should go left after the new set of trails back down the hill into the main line’s 180 jump. And u could work with the speed u get down that hill and link the trails back together
Matt is so unbelievably good in the main line it’s almost like he was born on the nine iron. He goes super high and land every jump perfect
The new jumps should be called the gopher mounds to go with the golf course theme. There’s been some pests digging up that nice field!
