    So i received Q35 yesterday, they are much louder than Q10 if i adjust eq for my needs, less bass but they sound better. Found a couple bad things also. First- wearing detection can't be turned off, if i turn it Off it will turn back On by itself . Second- the left earphone is way louder and boomier than right one which is very strange but i feel it right away. Third- ANC is almost a myth, if i turn it On and raise volume the bass starts popping like from broken speakers. You didn't mention these symptoms in your review. Did i get a faulty headphones?

      There's a video benchmarking the Q30 vs Qc 35 II
      The performance is close! But what im curious about is, if the Q35 has a massive improvement from Q30. Then it should surpass the qc35II from bose.

      @@TechOdyssey It's one I'd recommend trying, since it doesn't get a lot of attention over headphones such as the Sony XM4s, and budget champs such as the Life Q30/Q35s. I got mine for sale new on Amazon for $129.99 (same price as these Q35s), and I know the Opus is better in almost every way compared to my pair of Q30s. I say almost though, since the Q30s support multi-paring while the Opus doesn't, as well as the Soundcore app being so much more useful. The Opus app has like 3 settings and 5 preset EQs without custom EQ support.
      Sound quality is amazing, although it depends on what you'd expect. It's not base heavy, instead aiming for accuracy and clarity. I listen to a lot of EDM, and the bass is loud enough, and quite accurate, that's it's as satisfying as the thump you'd get out of the Q35s. They support aptX which I appreciate, but don't support LDAC.

    I have the Q30s and the additions on the Q35 are "nice"(as in non critical) additions but they DO NOT TAKE the headphone to the next level. The only complaint I have about the Q30s is that it was only available in black at the time I purchased. Soundcore should have given early adapters some color options as they did with the Liberty 2 Pro earbuds. This said, I am not about to buy a newer version of virtually the same headphone that has not been out a hot minute and Firmware Updates are likely to keep the Q30s sonically identical, or comparable, to the Q35 model.

    We shouldn't give soundcore a pass for drastically raising their prices. At this current price of the q35 there's alot of competition for soundcore. Soundcore is just trying to bank on their fanbase, I'd rather get the q30. Next we would see q40 at $200.

    • @TechOdyssey
      @TechOdyssey  3 года назад +1

      I don't think $129 is a pass. How is $129 bad but everyone was praising the liberty 2 pros at $159 last year? You have to pay to okay to an extent. I think the Q35s should have been the Q30s. Very little differentiation and more of a price gap than I think it's worth. LDAC isn't THAT big of a selling point and if it is, they probably aren't buying soundcore anyway. The Q30s are almost every bit as good and can be had for much cheaper. But deal a price perspective I think they are objectively fairly priced. They compete with headphones similar in price and much more expensive. They are charging less than I would expect for this level of quality and performance

      Sure this is still a good deal as compared to others more expensive but now they're cutting away their fans who bought their stuffs because it was sub $100. And now they're going for the higher paying customers who have a wide range of options.

      @@truthseeker6804 there is a tremendous about of improvement in sound experience, quality, and features that are in the Q30 and Q35s versus the Q10s and Q20s, also the MSRP on the Q30s is $99, so these are $30 more and still better than most $150+ headphones. There are a lot of headphones for under $99, sure. And yes I can see how you believe that the price isn't justified but to include all of the hardware and features plus app support/equalizer, transparency mode, pause sensor, wireless high resolution LDAC, plus the quality of drivers, hybrid ANC and more. This is worth the price tag. And if they are anything like other soundcore products it will be cheaper soon enough. Most places Q30s are $79 now. By Christmas you can probably get these for $79. I like less expensive stuff too but I don't think these are overpriced

      @@TechOdyssey you're not getting my point. I wouldn't praise companies just raising their prices. The more we let them raise prices the more they keep raising it fast. Soon they become like apple and just raise prices because they have a fanbase who would pay regardless. That's my point.
      And this q35 being worth it or not is up to each person. Anyone who wants ldac would likely consider it extremely worth it. Also compared to the more expensive headphones sure its worth it just based on all features. But q30 vs q35 is the q35 almost twice the worth of the q30. Likely not.
      Anyway it was a good discussion. I'm just not a big fan of letting companies raise prices and not talking about it.
