One of the most cursed things in Minecraft is that 1 source of water or lava, can turn into an infinite amount of water or lava. Like if you placed a water bucket off the side of a mountain, the entire mountain range will become covered in water, and the water will flow endlessly.

The relevation of real life Mumbo not being able to grow a mustache was SHOCKING. Where are all the news reporters bringing this LIVE on TV?!
Id like to note that silverfish are another hostile mob that exists in real life, they’re just smaller and much more docile
Also they're not able to kill you and don't tear down your house if you hit one
@@williamdrum9899 As far as we know
This is great.
It’s kinda visible how the whole video spawned from the last fact which in itself probably came into mind after competing in that November beard growing challenge.
I love it

@@thedetonator9695 He said that he can't actually grow a mustache.
100% honesty: I was subscribed to Mumbo for idek how many years but I never watched his videos (other than for redstone tutorials and possibly Hermitcraft). But ever since his video about him taking a break and doing better for himself, I find myself watching every video. I'm happy for you, bud, you deserve this.

It's really crazy when you compare the two. I never noticed how many fantasy elements real life has that aren't actually in Minecraft.

Literally will want that part two where you just point to the whole creative chart, stating “doesn’t exist.” Your random prattles happen to be where I find my comfort.
4:39 as an australian i can say, spiders can grow way bigger than that. for reference the funnleweb on the ride at janbaroo action park is actually the size of a real spider.
My wife and I are so overjoyed to watch your videos again. I really hope you read all of the comments because I want to share our journey with you.
Your redstone videos are what got me hooked and then your season 7 base caught my wife's eye while I had you on one day. Very shortly after, season 8 started, and we were hooked. Your fun with Grian led us to third life which is where we became curious about Scar. Proceeding to binge both Grian and Scar's third life series we had to check out their season 8. Long story short, we now watch every new video from a majority of the Hermitcraft crew, both Hermitcraft and others as well. We are constantly meeting more creators through everyone's videos... But we have you, Mumbo Jumbo, to thank for our nightly entertainment and escape from the world around us. Thank you for your quick cuts that very much are engaging with our ADHD. Thank you for being you, we love when your personality shines and that you took the time to take care of yourself and have what I'm sure was a great adventure. We have missed you so unbelievably much. We also struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, and the worst task paralysis, and like all the executive dysfunction. So we both really appreciate the example you're setting of taking care of yourself. We love you so much and want the best for you whether it's on RUclips or not. We definitely wanted to give you the bragging rights of being THE reason why we are now addicted to Minecraft videos. THANK YOU MUMBO JUMBO!!! We are so happy to see you again ❤️❤️❤️

5:45 13 cubic metres of dirt have a mass of approximately 19.5 tonnes. The fact that pistons can push 12 cubic metres of any block (including gold) is already insane
the piston also moves at the same speed every time, not varying with different block types, which is even more ridiculous
But the piston itself is 1 cubic meter large

I started watching redstone videos and some of these too. Now I’m here for the hermitcraft, but he isn’t playing anymore. Idk if he’ll start back again. I hope he does. Empires is weird tho

I can't believe Mumbo retconned the existence of skeletons from real life
Let's not forget the fact that if one minecraft block is one meter, one minecraft world has more surface area than Neptune. The planet.
I love the fact that a lot of these were perfectly clippable.

The height of an oak tree depends on it's enviroment. In Finland, oak trees usually grow to 3-4 meters tall. But when talking about the natural groth place of oak trees, what Mumbo said is true.
Great to see another video from you.
But he completely ignored another big difference: Apples

Mumbo calling the enslavement of villagers in real life "Generally frowned upon" made my day
Just wanted to say that I can tell you're enjoying your videos more. This was one of my favorite videos of yours just because I can tell you really liked making it. Great to see it, Mumbo!
What is really disturbing is the fact that mumbo had to research all of these things and (maybe) test them out. It is a wonder how he is still with us.
He tested out if imprisoning the people of your village and forcing them to work is generally frowned upon.
@@vinsplayer2634 Oh...
That is kind of suspicious.
PS: Mumbo now officially lives in a village.
Vins is a game(er) theorist. But that's just a theory.
So happy to see you back at it and making videos you enjoy rather than videos that pay the bills.
I promise these videos will do just as well so keep being happy. ❤
This legitimately makes me rethink reality when I'm playing Minecraft; like, I feel completely captivated from the outside world, but maybe that's just me very very poorly multitasking.

They do transport lava/molten metals in buckets. They have special ones which more or less have electric heaters, and ones that effectively act as a thermos, to keep the temperature as stable as possible. It is possible to keep them molten for a good bit of time w/ these methods.

3:13 in the Netherlands any existing object taller than 10 meters is huge because we literally only have 1 official mountain and its only about 5 meters high enough to be considered a mountain.

Mumbo: 1 meter spiders don't exist
Welcome to the land down under
This is great that Mumbo posted a video in the middle of Grian’s stream
So many people were saying
“Oh no, Mumbo made a video, bye Grian.”
I love how stepping away from Minecraft for a little bit has allowed you realize how weird it is. XD I remember one time, I was idly thinking, and the thought wandered across my mind that if I were to ever be poisoned, I could just drink milk. I instantly was like “Wait, isn’t that only in Minecraft, not reality?” and had to look it up to double check. 11 years of playing Minecraft does that to a person. XDXD
True, never underestimate the power of idyl thoughts and long term Minecraft players
It actually is helpful to drink in some cases of poisoning! Every time I wash my dishes, I see on the bottle of soap that it says to drink water or milk as one of the precautions if you eat soap.
No, playing minecraft for 11 years does not do that to a person. That's just you being stupid.
One time I was entering dark room but I backed away because I thought it could could spawn a zombie but I remembered that I'm in real life
Simetimes when I'm tired and it's dark out I have this impulsive "I Need To Sleep The Creepers Will Spawn" and then I Snape back to reality.
Think what makes this video so entertaining is the fact that mumbo, seems to be genuinely having fun making it. I mean he admits it is a video about nothing, yet it is one of the most entertaining videos I've watched lately.

One of the most cursed things in Minecraft is that 1 source of water or lava, can turn into an infinite amount of water or lava. Like if you placed a water bucket off the side of a mountain, the entire mountain range will become covered in water, and the water will flow endlessly.
6:35 Immovable... but can also be broken and picked up. Minecraft kitchen remodelling would be _vastly_ easier.
Depending on how you look at it, a cube of gold 22 meters (~70 feet) on a side sounds like a LOT of gold, but also not very much when you think that it is ALL THE GOLD EVER MINED in reality, lol. With all the gold jewelry, electronics, etc that are out there, it just feels like the total volume should be higher:D
Until you convert that to mass and realize this cube would be so heavy it probably would cave itself into the earth
@@juanfeit3129 ~187,000 metric tons. So yeah, that is a LOT of mass:D
When you compare it to something like iron however (3 BILLION TONNES in 2019 alone!) it is not much:D
Speaking of TNT, I always get bothered by the fact it's made from gunpowder and sand. Real life tnt is made from mixing nitric and sulphuric acid with a chemical called toluene.
It makes sense in minecraft, it's not supposed to be a chemistry simulator, but the more you know.
51: in real life a redstone block would do 1 of 2 things: 1: do absoluely nothing but be a red 1m³ ...block. 2: turn into a blackhole due to it being essentially Infinite energy combacted into 1m³ cube.
