I showed my centrist mum the image the other day, and she was convinced that it was ohotoshopped and done against his will. Because surely no one would use that image if they wanted Starmer to look good. Reminded me somewhat of "Starmer's secret polling data". The absolute refusal to believe that these people in fact do not know what they are doing.
In her defense I initially thought it was a shop, something about the lighting doesn't look right, but maybe thats just Starmer being an inhuman projection of malice from the Lib Dimension.
Ok, I'll give you that Stalin mpreg fanfic probably exists, but I refuse to accept that any person, ever, has looked at Starmer and said "Yes! This is my muse"
27:16 What fascinates me about this article is that much of it (apart from the expulsions, which weren't an issue because most of the people who are now being expelled from Labour would justly have declined to piss on the party if they'd been on fire at that time) could have been written about Labour under Miliband, which featured Rachel Reeves pledging to be even harder on working-class people than the Tories and a refusal to take any meaningful steps to alleviate the benefit cuts-driven misery that was already killing large numbers of people. At the time, the most serious polls, e.g. the British Social Attitudes Survey, found that the Tory anti-worker policies embraced by Labour had no more than some 20 - 40 % support in the population (even though the spurious justifications for those policies - uncritically parroted by the media - were believed by the majority). The same study found that the overwhelming majority of the population had economic views that put them to the left of the manifestos Jeremy Corbyn would ultimately stand on. However, despite the fact that the Tories barely managed to win the support of more than 20 % of eligible voters (a figure roughly coinciding with the share of the population having 'personal wealth' in excess of £600k), the line on Labour's defeat at the time amongst media figures who would likely describe themselves as 'soft left' was that Labour lost because they weren't right wing enough. As far as I can tell, it's taken over a decade of this miasma for a centrist commentator to acknowledge that there is at best token support in the population for an 'opposition' that behaves as if it's in coalition with the government.
I WOULD say that sir Kid Starver should delicately trip and fall into the Thames, but because I'm not sure he's actually composed of organic matter, that would be polluting the environment, and that's simply unacceptable, no matter how satisfying the splash would be.
I can't help hearing about Gerwig's previous works without talking about how much I hate Lady Bird. It's a movie about an abusive relationship which ends with an uplifting emotional note of forgiving your abuser and internalizing their criticism of you.
2:00:55 i’m midway through this keir starmer talking with tony blair bit and i do not understand how anyone pays attention to this man, he is a hole in the world
There is a photo of my Labour Mayor (Chris Cook) walking around Middlesbrough with Keir Starmer. THEY ALSO LOOK LIKE CLONES. It's not just Wes Streeting - Sir Starver is picking out men who look just like him. It's weeeeeiiiiiird AF.

@dand1253 yeah, I was very confused about why Sophie went on the attack. I figured it had to be some bigoted joke or something, maybe about sex work? IDK

Hereby my humble offerings to the queen of slop…
I've been doing this instinctively since i was 18 yeats old, i did not know the reason but i knew there was one

Keir bless you and all your bathrooms
The hero we all need. Thank you.

1:10:05 Chat GPT has two jokes, that's twice as many as conservative comedians have.

Sir Kid Starver, brilliant! Definitely gonna use that unless he magically becomes a different person after being elected.
The camera is focused, he just looks like that.
Sir.
Kid.
Starver.

Gonna be honest, Milo's impression of him did not lead me to think he looked like a budget Alan Tudyk.
Downing Street really must be a ghastly place given the lengths to which Starver's going in order to avoid having to live there.
Kid Starver/Thatcher Mpreg fanfic. You invoked it's name, and called it into the world. All is lost.
1:28:30 lol, his politics is literally "we gotta fake it till we make it fellas!"
sequel to oppenheimer: godzilla

Fucking grim ending. I need to get off the floor and stop feeling sorry for myself.
What was the track at the start of the stream? It ruled.
Sadly I missed it live. Oh well
Mmm slop yum yum yum yum yum
I didn't get $5 thing? Is it an insult I'm not aware of?
It's a quote from Kirachats that got clipped out of context by some debate bros

I remain convinced that the Tory party is going to die and Labour is going to become the next right wing party with a very ironic name.
Kids need to be less negative, need less food, and commit to growth through austerity and isolationism. Is this right?
How is he defining progressive?
