I have a hyper flame, wouldn’t use any other dual burner. Great in the wind, mine dosent have the whistle issue like yours and you can turn it down to a light simmer
Great innovation! Thanks for helping me to get my head around the hundred different ideas I have with another alternative. Deciding what I want to do next is harder than the work itself haha.
Hey guys , thanks for making this vid, life is pretty weird right now, so its great to see you guys out there and having fun! I love making french toast out of bread like that! I cant wait to get out camping in my Westy ! Good luck, and stay safe...
So glad you like the video! It sure is a strange time, and a very hard time to be living on the road, but we’re glad we can still bring some joy to these videos! Can’t wait to get back on the road once all of this is over! Hope you’re safe and well :) - Kendall and Glenn
Have you built a vented compartment for the gas bottle? I found this handy definition of a gas locker to explain what I'm referring to. "A gas locker is an additional storage compartment for the gas bottle, which has a vent near the floor. Since gas weighs more than air, if the gas cylinder leaks, the gas would escape through the vent instead of into the motorhome". I think this is probably pretty important to address because gas pooling at floor level could lead to an explosive result.
OMG, this looks amazing! The hard work was definitely worthit! Do you guys have the exact measurement of the Kitchen? I also just got a T3 and would loveeee to do the same one as you guys!
I love this! I just found you guys. I am moving into my van this year and I really want to make sure I am able to incorporate a healthy lifestyle as well while living on the road. great video!
If you take the knobs off the front that adjust the gas. Take all the grease off and then use silicon grease you will then be able to turn the flame down to be able to simmer. They are actually a wonderful stove once that has been done. It’s like cooking on a gas stove at home.
Daniella Bustabad hahaha so glad you guys liked the bloopers! We always have plenty so we’ll have to keep including them ;) lots of love to you both! xx
Kitchen pull-out almost as beautiful as you both :) Love the clever plan and it makes much better sense to cook outside than inside to keep minimum food smell in your sleeping space! (Except for winter days..)
Hey Guys, nice vid. Are you aware of the hack that involves unscrewing the knobs on the stove and removing the internal grease. It allows adjustment to a much lower heat than otherwise possible?
Thank you beautifuls💗 thanks for the fun laugh there at the end🤣😃I love your dress! I appreciate you telling me about the gas stove😊👍💗 Where do the food prep chopping Etc?
No worries Diane! We chop veggies and stuff either outside on the kitchenette, inside on the bench, or on a table we set up outside. Check our new van build out on our page to see our new updated kitchenette :)
The concept is great but I think you need to reconsider the gas cylinder in the cabinet. You won't stand a chance if there is a leak, unless it is vented to the outside and Gas Certified. Risky guys, also highly illegal!! Cheers from the Sunny Coast in Queensland.
William Bailey Hey William! We got the table from a camping site (can’t remember exactly which one) but the brand is ‘Zempire’. It’s a great table and folds up nicely, though it is a bit on the smaller side. The chairs were from a site called ‘vidaXL’. If you search the term ‘Outdoor Bistro Chairs 2 pcs Solid Acacia Wood’ on their site you should find them! Hope that helps :) - Kendall and Glenn
I've been thinking about a similar kitchen but building up instead out like you guys. I was worried that it would become annoying having to exit the cab every time we want to get to the back. Has that been an issue for you?
It's not an issue for us. We never really kept that space free anyway so wouldn't regularly go from the front into the back without leaving the cab so it made sense. Also allows for more seating, and our centre console stores so much stuff! Check out our new build however as we made some upgrades to this whole set up. Video on our channel :)
Thanks a lot Harry! How exciting for you mate. Happy to answer questions for sure. The box on the back is from a trailer parts store in Australia but I think your best bet is to just look for a trailer parts store where you are for storage boxes for work utes and trailers. Secondly we do have a water tank. It's only 35L unfortunately. We modified the Puma water tank from "front runner outfitters" but annoyingly there is a bit of dead space above it. If we had more time during our build I would have tried to modify better or used their product as inspiration to fabricate my own. We have our entire camper build series on our channel so definitely have a look and it may help with your build :)
Just learn as we go. Glenn was a personal trainer and Kendall worked in marketing. We just have enjoyed being creative with photography and videography :)
Hey Marco! We had some trouble finding these and ended up sourcing them from a marine/boat store. Here is a link to the product page: www.whitworths.com.au/seaworld-stainless-steel-table-brackets-2 Apparently they are called 'table brackets' which isn't too specific, but we hope that helps!
Stand-up comedians may just be in your futures - most enjoyable. Even a kitchenette demo was entertaining .. .. .. lol, lol, lol !!

What are those brackets called for the extended counter top and where did you get them? Do you have plans for the kitchenette? Measurements etc?
I honestly can't remember the name but i do recall I bought them from a boating hardware store. i hope this helps :)
Love your van and your 70s dress
Such a cute van guys!! And love the kitchen 💕
Aw thanks so much guys! Glad you like it :)
I just bought a van last week and I need a tip to get a new stove. My old Coleman just doesnt cut it so what is you advise for a new camping stove???
Thanks for this, it's been a great help
Hey Guys, nice vid. Are you aware of the hack that involves unscrewing the knobs on the stove and removing the internal grease. It allows adjustment to a much lower heat than otherwise possible?
Thanks for the tip! We don't have that stove anymore so don't need to worry too much about it but that's a great idea :)
I love your van 🥺🤙🏻💔
X Naoufal aww thank you so much! 🥰
Your kitchen box is so cool! What’s bracket name for that extension table? Better a link, Thank you!
Thanks a lot! I honestly don't know what the brackets are called. I did get them from a boating store though!
Hi you both, we also have a VW T3. I have a question where did you get your awning from? Which brand is it, it looks fabulous. Greets from Germany
Hi Paul, our awning is custom from a guy on the Gold Coast of Queensland called 'Platinum Trimming'.
100% Absolutely brilliant
Thanks so much :)

What happens if the weather is bad outside can you still cook inside ?
Good.
Thanks for the porfict video
