Then I tear the bag off and grill it still frozen. It is just like a mini steak.

Looks good. Someone suggested using sour cream instead of cream. What about adding a bit of Dijon mustard and perhaps a small amount of chopped shallots? Maybe a touch of paprika for a richer color, and lastly a tablespoon of sherry? Hmmmm...

I would scrutinize the ingredients label on the garlic before using. It could be 2 paragraphs long of extraterrestrial words and phrases. Same for the beef stock if it comes in a box. If I can find clean ingredients, I will definitely give this a try. Thanks for sharing.
McCormick Garlic Powder is always made from fresh, whole garlic cloves that have been dried and ground for consistent, quality flavor. Ingredients Garlic Powder. Doesn't get much cleaner does it?
If you salt the beef and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight you will get protein extraction as if making sausage. Firmer patties with better mouth feel.
