Thankyou guys. I was training for my dream job as a racing pit mechanic/tech - finished my training with flying colours and my body gave out, I can now barely wrench on my own stuff let alone replace wheels in a matter of seconds or whatever. Now I live through channels like yours keeping my wrenching passion bubbling away and not turning sour. Thankyou again Freddie and Jared.
Really excited for Earl's build series, and definitely curious about the events you want to take him to. I hope one of them just so happens to be in Bradenton, Florida at that little ol' place where you brought the fake Bugatti
I love the idea of more tool reviews. Especially the ones you've done so far since Im sure quite a bit of us arent constantly buying high end name brand tools. I would love to see a review on electric impacts.
@@digitalgavakie If you want some really well done tool reviews check out Project Farm. I love these guys but his testing is next level. The torque test channel is also a good one. Short version, no brand is always best and anyone who thinks so is provably incorrect.
Looking forwards to seeing work on the Esprit. I live 20 miles from the factory at Hethel in Norfolk, England. Also can testify to how deceptively strong they after being in one that hit a large tree sideways at 70+ mph. Still curious about the Bricklin SV1 too.
Actually loved the series on that Tahoe. I own a 05 Yukon Denali with the 6.0/AWD 4L65e and your video still taught me some things in an enjoyable manner due to y’all’s excellent production quality on content. Thanks!
I will always love the term "Frosted Farts" which I learned with Jerods new truck with heated and cooled seats. Makes me laugh every time I think about it.
I love you guys and can really see how you grew into brothers over the years. Been watching since the white Lamborghini when Jared was introduced as the welding Jedi. Keep it coming Because I’m for it allllll 👍🏾
I like the majority of your content. Tool reviews are enjoyable. Any time with VGG is great to watch. I do watch most of your content but I do watch ALL of VGG content, I find his delivery just hilarious to watch having grown up with guys with his type of humor and delivery and now he's in a closer location to you two.
happy new year - You gentlemen are very good at what you do, I'm so new to the car scene and you guys are helping me learn so much, on top of being very entertaining job well done you deserve all the success :D
1st video where I've noticed the channel name change. Love it, have to watch the video again because it was the one that brought my attention to the new name.
Thank you, Jared and Freddie! The videos on both channels are fun to watch, informative, and often show aspects of really cool cars that usually don't get shown on other channels. Also, your personalities blend perfectly, making it clear that not only can you two work well together, but you're also very good friends away from the camera. That's nice to see.
The Tahoe build or fix, was possibly one of the best as it does show how silly some of us are making questionable choices and it was good fun to come along for the ride
You guys do make for an interesting combo ! I can’t wait to see what your teases turn out to be ! “Less sleep, more work! “ That should be on one of you merch shirts .
Parts car: Around 1982 a house along the route of my school bus suddenly had an orange 1969 Charger in the driveway. I went up to the house to ask permission to take some pictures of the car, and the lady shared that her husband had bought it as a parts car for his Roadrunner, but decided it was nice enough that he needed to fix it up too. But my favorite story has to be that, around the same time, my brother owned a 1967 Lincoln Continental that was missing a few bits, like all of the trim off the right side and the factory radio. One day while driving past a junkyard he saw a Continental in their lot, as if it had just arrived. Looking it over, it was in rough shape but had all the right side trim and the factory radio. They sold him the whole car for $200 and even delivered it. (And a few years later he sold both cars to a friend, having moved none of the parts to the good one. Because that's what usually happens with project cars.) :)
I know all about the esprit. I was a lotus parts guy for most of the 90s. Got a great old picture of a then new v8, next to an s4s, next to an f50. Covered with snow. The owners thought we were a good place to leave their cars all winter. We pulled them out in the morning and back in at night.
growing up, i loved imports. when i got my '92 S-10, that went out the window. My mechanic buddy needed a square body pulled up the driveway, with locked brakes... it didn't even care. 4.3 for the win!
Get that old case working! That would be awesome! My step dad has an old case from like the 50's or 60's with an old 4 banger ford diesel, it's had electrical fires and hydraulic Leask but it just keeps going.
Great choice with the movie car. Not just because the finished product will be better, its a better use of your time. And you need that time to finish ALL THE THINGS! 😂 Looking forward to all the exciting projects, old and new!
Ironic how it takes something bad to happen for something much better to happen. Leaving the other garage clearly is the best thing to happen to you. Definitely this is a much better location for you and all the builds you are going to do.
4:48 funny story freddie. About 10 years ago, my best friend, fed up with the price of pickup trucks and a diehard volvo guy, brought home a GIGANTIC volvo flatbed. We went to a volvo truck dealer to get brake pads. Guess what, No dice. For heavy duty trucks, they pretty much discontinue anything older than like 10-15 years. Couldn't even get an exhaust gasket for the thing. He wound up patching it up with some parts from the junkyard and selling it on. I think this thing was supposed to haul an excavator or something, the flat bed was HUGE! And a sad side note to your story about parts availability, I spent 15 years as a small engine mechanic. I have a Husqvarna Blower from 2006. Great blower, needed a carburetor rebuild. Found out that because it has a TK carb, there are no carb kits available. The blower is, well, junk, unless I can rig a walbro or zama to work on it. Blew my mind. Where kawasaki used to make all of husqvarna's blowers and then husqvarna bought redmax, Kawasaki discontinued ALL 2 stroke parts for all their former blowers and weedeaters. It was a sad day :( The end of an era. Kawasaki made some of the best 2 stroke engines for my field, period!
1. Cut the Lotus loose. Put your time in the other projects. 2. Earl as a drift car is an awesome idea. Derek is the man. 3. Work on the Porsche. 4. Cut loose the movie charger. Looking forward to seeing more videos in 2022.
Since the tool review video did good you could always stop by viewers shops and check out there setups. When your in there area or have them send you a video of there set up and compile them into a video
I'm excited for the Charger build, and the tool reviews are amazing! I will happily continue watching everything else you guys post, I'm loving all the WED videos you have posted in the last year. I'd love to watch you guys throw in Craftsman tool sets into the mix, to see how they compare up to the other "quality" equipment!

Contrast Lotus support for their vintage products (Lotus not aware of products made before 1997) with Ford's support for their products (theoretically you can still order a new AM radio for a 1964.5 Mustang). Huge difference. General Motors briefly owned Lotus from late 1980s until GM's 2009 bankruptcy.
GM sold Lotus in 1993. The Elan was designed by Lotus under GM, which was a major project done as if a major car company, and realistically had little chance of making a profit (they built over 60 prototypes). Hence GM sold Lotus to Romano Artioli / Bugatti.
I had a '88 Lotus Turbo Esprit w/ single windshield wiper. I needed a new one. Contacted Lotus USA. $118.00. w/ at least 3/4 month delivery time. At the time I worked in sales at a Dodge / Chrysler Dealership. Parts Mgr is a good friend. So, we measured the length of said wiper. Lo and Behold, the Chrysler Minivan had the same length wiper blade as the Lotus. He gave me the blade. $0 cost. Always search and source for parts. You'll never know what you might find that will fit and work perfectly.

Good too see the Lotus is still in the shop at least, maybe an engine swap for that is in order with a toyota 4 banger with a adapter plate too the original transmission maybe ? I love the evolution of this "second channel". Jared takes the content to a new level.
Please, please, please continue on the SC300 with IS F engine. One of my favorites.
And Earl and Rousey
