What exactly do you mean, the display or what? I never use a case, and my old iPhone 13 Pro Max has virtually no scratches on the frame, actually none at all. Just don’t use your phone like a 2€ item and take care of it, then it stays in good condition. I only use a screen protector because I get really annoyed by scratches on the display. My phone has only fallen twice, and that was on carpet.
