I feel you on the reading slump been reading Erich Fromm’s Sane Society about how insane our society is and it’s really good in a mind blowing way given when the book was written but Idk I just can seem to sit down an concentrate even when I manage to read it he full on makes me feel so shook that I need a week to digest the content but either way I highly recommend it haha
Unnatural Causes is sooooo good! So well written. Also, Murakami has a book called After Dark which takes place over one night, much like Untold Night and Day. It's also quite short and I read it super quickly, so I would definitely recommend that to get out of a reading slump!
0:55 The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy 2:02 Please look after mom 2:52 Conscience in action 4:00 The Hole 4:52 5:20 Red Rising 6:06 China's economic engagement in North Korea 7:10 Unnatural Causes 7:47 The Interpreter The Organ Bank Farm
The only Korean author I’ve ever read... I don’t remember her name. She wrote “the girl with seven names.” I really liked it. It may be a good pick since you are interested in reading Korean authors.
As a Sci-Fi fan, I feel like I should read Red Rising; 75% of my High School required reading was dystopian, and to this day I struggle with dystopian books because of it, so IDK if I ever will. I've been told to read Kafka on the Shore for my first Murakami, but I kind of want to read Norwegian Wood simply because that's also the title of a Beatles song I love. I'm trash.
Omg it's so unusual to see your uploads. Love it. Proud of a consistent girl ♡ I need to read the "look after mom" one and I definitely need to get into Murakami as I piece of shit have to shamefully admit I have never read one of his works.
Almost missed this one. The Hitchhiker's Guide is _so_ good_. Should pick that one up again too. And F. Scott Fitzgerald is always a great read. I haven't heard about Matt Haig before but I just read a bit about his style and themes and his work sounds really interesting. Would you consider making a video about him (or at least review The Midnight Library when after you've finished it)? 😇

Thank you for the recommendation, I'm going to start Red Rising soon!
I get the sense that Barbara is inhabited by the shade of Alan Rickman.
