Hi Matt, I'm writing from India. I often listen n comment to your podcast. Today's podcast is about effective communication. Thanks Susan Rise for her valuable comments. According to her, leadership principal is finding right people, giving them vision n mission, checking their personal life.
According to her, feedback is about giving n recieving. For giving feedback, the feedback must be direct. For those, who have done correctly their work, must be encouraged. But those, who fail, must be pinpointed the error n how that error can be corrected. This must be done with patient, kind n polite. For recieving feedback, colleagues politely show the errors n seek it out.
According to her, negotiation means clearing own position, empathy to opposite side's position. For inconvenient opponent, it needs to be little bit canny, humar charm. It needs address to direct person for direct negotiation. For effective negotiation, adapt to the environment n don't be insecure to yourself. Thanks

I love the conversation between Matt and Susan Rice, and I'd like to write down the key bullets I've learned from it.
    1. Negotiating can be much fun as you can find tangible gratification after it.
    2. Being clear and concise when you communicate with people.
    3. Not letting other people define us, and it is their fault if they do so.

It is very useful, especially for me who have problems in delivering ideas and thoughts toward people. I also have issues to transfer the communication in direct and straight ways. Thank you for the recipes.
