I was a Hindu person I was worshipping 50 God's when prayed I didn't get any help .so I decided to see what is this christian religion just worship one God. Assemble a person whose faith is strong, a person whose faith is weak, and a person without faith who amenable to believe in but lacks a catalyst to push them over. Pray for your brother in the spirit of Psalm 22, the opening line of which Jesus uttered on the cross and ask for your miracle. Invoke the Holy Family and that you’re trying to teach someone to believe in Jesus. If there’s a miracle in God’s Will for you, it will happen. Conversions and miracles go together. I’ve experienced it.
I'm a retired Lutheran pastor (eighty years old) and our parish celebrates the Three Days. I find it more deeply moving every year. It is, in fact, the most moving spiritual experience for me. I wish I had been blessed with a liturgical teacher such as Fr Alar in my own confirmation and later seminary days. So, again, may all the Sacred Paschal blessings be with all who view this video with gratitude!

I am a Catholic but was never put through this beautiful explanation of Triduum.
I attended a Catholic College, and learnt about the Triduum.
We attended all the Easter Ceremonies including the Thursday night ceremony which they called the Tridumm.(perhaps meaning the beginning of the 3 days)
It was a very dramatic ceremony with some banging sounds.
The whole ceremony was very solemn and mysterious.
I loved the whole of the Easter Ceremonies and still feel that it is the most Holy time of our Christian year.
JESUS died on a midst of the week Thursday ✝. Catholic or not, a Friday ✝️can't allow 3 days and nights in the heart of the earth to fulfill Mat. 12:40,41, 1st Pet. 3:18,19.
This is why I came back to catholicism in 2015 after erring 10 years. The profound symbolism that leads us into an understanding of the mystery of our salvation by our Lord Jesus.

I will be singing during Good Friday and at Easter Vigil. I always cry during these services, as I am so unworthy to have received Christ’s salvation. I try to be more Christ-like in my deeds and thoughts.

I agree. It's a disgrace that God has been removed period......unless it is a parochial school. Same with our Pledge of Allegiance. How unifying around God and country, in that order, is offensive to anyone is disturbing.

Even for most adults this is difficult to understand and follow. To break it down to a level where a pre-teen could understand would be a challenge. Teens could understand most of these concepts but most teens are shuttled off to youth group which from experience as a volunteer for a few years, the level of catechism can vary widely (even week to week). It wasn't until I wandered away from the Church as an adult then wandered back that I took an interest and was taught these things by reading for myself and a few weekend classes at a local Catholic University, taught by a priest with a PhD in Sacred Theology.
Please pray for my two daughters as they are stuck in their lives, with no direction. Please Lord be their Guide & Shepherd show them the way. May they fulfill Your Plans for them.
Help them to achieve what they have worked so hard in life. Amen.

No, Janette, those are liturgies of the Lord's Passion with readings and Communion from Hosts consecrated on Holy Thursday. But there is no consecration of Good Friday and thus it is not a Mass.

@@paxchristi2014 Just been, there was something that looked like a mass... But no Liturgy of the Eucharist, that was kept overnight from Holy Thursday.
I never really understood Psalm 88 until Thursday's mass with Father Schmitz online.

One thing often forgotten is that Jesus was the fulfilment of God's Covenant to humanity foretold in the ancient scriptures. First, He came for the salvation of the Jews; then, for all humanity. He taught peace and love, and the redemption of repentance and forgiveness -- not fire and sword -- as the way to come to God's love.

You do not need a church service to praise God. Your heart is all you have to sacrifice and love Him more then anything. The reward that awaits you after this short existence is well worth it.
In 1 Tim 3:15 Jesus called the Church “the pillar and foundation of the truth.” He established the chair of the papacy and put Peter upon it in Matt 16:18. In Col 1:18 Jesus said he is the head of the body, which is the Church. So, contrary to common belief, the Church isn’t man-made but God-made. 2Tim2:2 says, What you hear from me entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. This is how Christ set it up, so who are you to tell him he is wrong?
@@DivineMercy_Official What a great concept two thousand years ago, but just like anything that allows someone power, it also corrupts. Do you really think that Jesus would be happy that His name has made so many very wealthy? That the religion in His name has caused many to turn their back on God? Organized Christian religion has become a business and in many cases, turned it's narrative away from what is righteous to what is profitable. Greed and lust have polluted some of the minds of those who claim to represent Him and in the process, have ruined many lives.

Where were you Rev.Fr.Chris, when I made my First Holy Communion? My Catechism Classes were all enigmas & we were so in awe of those nuns (St. Joseph of Tarbes) we scarely breathed, leave alone spoke up to clear our doubts. Everything, we simply learnt by rote.

A great summary, Father Chris. My family usually goes to the Easter Vigil mass and it’s one of my favorite services! Especially when we bless the fire and sing in darkness while holding candles. Just makes the light all the more spectacular when we sing the Gloria again.
After not being able to attend masses last year cause of the lockdowns, I can’t wait to get in the pews! This Lent has been crazy, but I sincerely believe it’s helped me establish a better prayer life. God bless you Father and all your fellow clergy during this Triduum! 🙏

As I understand it, Jesus' legs were not broken because he had already given up his spirit and died. There was no need to break his legs to hasten his death by asphyxiation.

As Father alluded, the Psalm from which Jesus quoted, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" (Psalm 22 [21]) develops beautifully: "The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the Lord!" (verse 26) is followed by a beautiful description of life after death, and Jesus knew that.
