What side of Michigan are you hauling? I am moving into Bloomfield and I want to get into doubles for whatever dumb reason I think it would be great. Hows the job in the snow? They put you out in it or do you wait a couple days for it to be clear? Before I decided to move up here with my girl I always wanted to buy a truck and haul wood chips so this is interesting too me
Amazing video man will you please do more like this one only in the next one started up and do some Drake breaking because that would sound really cool. Thanks man and stay safe. Have a blessed one by the way, I just subscribed.
are we getting more trucking videos? Was about to subscribe but i c nomore trucking content on the page so am waiting am a gamer too but more of a trucker type
With michigan gravel trains, you back them up every drop. The rear trailer has a lock for the dolly, and you essentially use the first trailer to push the second trailer. Just turn the wheel in the direction you want the ass end to go. It can get a little squirrelly at times, but it’s nothing that practice won’t fix.
If u are ever going to drive a gravel train my best advice is learn how to not use a dolly Lock learn how to move the dolly around because yes u get into messed up situations I ve been stuck couldn't go forward but could move backwards my dolly was all over I moved it where I could lock up then I could back up and got myself out a really good tool to learn most drivers would have gave up
I just jumped right into it. I was always nervous about pulling doubles but with the right company and trainer, showing me the proper way of doing this, was really helpful.
@@CrimsonBullTrucking thanks for replying man, i got an offer recently to be trained and hire to run gravel trains for a company here in michigan, hoping it works out
@@enku5566Hey did it work out? I’m looking to do the same thing. I live around Belleville MI, looking to come off the road and go local. The gravel train and aggregate hauling has always interested me lol
@@ShawnTheDriver It depends on the company but you have experience, so most places should give you a shot, i know several paving companies looking to train and hire flow boy drivers and lead drivers in mi
