The whole thing with the character Kingpin is that he was always depicted as being incredibly smart and very large in his comic book appearances. Sometimes, the artists have interpreted that as fat, sometimes as muscular, and sometimes he is drawn as being so big as to even defy human norms. In movies and TV that are non-animated, there are obviously limits to how big Kingpin can be, at least if the character is to be played by an actual human and not a CGI representation of one. But in this one, they chose to make Kingpin absolutely MASSIVE...to the point where he is just as much of a physical threat to multiple Spider-people as he is an intellectual one...and I think it is very very cool and amazing what they did with him. It is about as impressive as I have ever seen him. ✌✌💯💯😁😁
Although there are limitations as to how big a human being can be, Vincent D'Onofrio did a phenomenal job at portraying Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in Netflix's "Daredevil". Fantastic performance, he was a terrifying villain while still being human. A messed-up, traumatized, extremely violent human, but still human, which made him even worse.
8:23 ....In the 1960's t.v. show, there's a moment in the intro that goes "LOOK OUT, HERE COMES THE SPIDERMAN".... In this scene, a big Look Out appears behind Miles and a second later, there he came the Spider-man..... Coincidence or easter egg?.... I'll let you folks decide.....
Fun, nerdy fact about the animation style on this movie: They didn't use any motion blur, which is pretty common in animation to make it look more "realistic". The reason why is because they wanted it to look like comic book art. If you pause this movie at any point, there's no motion blur, making it look like a comic book frame. It definitely gave the movie a unique, stylistic look.
Anytime someone asks something like "how do you get into these stairwells" it's clear you have not done delivery, it's so easy to get into locked buildings, just act like you know what your doing, maybe have a prop, but it's so simple.
the story this movie takes inspiration from is wild. #Spoilers Peter takes a bullet that was meant from someone else, shot by the punisher of all people, so the bullet ends up wounding him severely, he then goes on to fight the green gobin, who's mutated and has fire powers and has wings so he can fly without the help of tech, the two do battle and peter ends up losing his life in the battle.
These reactions are much better when the reactor knows anything at all about Spider-Man. The movie is so self-referential that most of it is lost on someone like this.
This is so, so, so much better than No Way Home. That one is fun and has great stuff, but with them being so similar in many ways, I can't help but compare them. And comparing them makes it quickly clear that this is the superior film.

You can actually activate the child locks (can't be opened from the inside) on a lot of regular cars too, I did it once accidentally when I was a kid. Don't know how ubiquitous it is. Maybe cop cars these days have electronic lock/unlock controls up front for it.
It's a cartoon Maple, Kingpin doesn't need to look like he fits, he just does. lol. The real question is, "why does he sound like he belongs in a ghetto?" White Wilson Fisk is supposed to be from upper class money. Ben Afleck's Daredevil Fisk is the one from the streets.
