Most of this video WAS NOT SHOT IN HDR, it's mostly converted shots, sped-up clips, AI augmented, etc. in between *some* truly HDR video sourced from camera. You're trying to fool the viewers, aren't you?
Since a UHBR20 display port cable can only support up to 8K @ 85hz & 10 bits or 12 bits (without using any compression technique such as DSC), I am pretty sure no one could watch a "12K True HDR video @60hz" without compressing the hell out of it. Even 10K already uses ~100Gbits/s of bandwidth @60hz 12 bits...
Impressive video, but when demonstrating that kind of resolution, the shots at f1.2 with only one eyeball in focus don't really show the true potential.

I wonder if anyone at the HDMI standards committee is saying - let's take 5 years to come out with a standard that can handle it - that would mean chips will be out in 7 years - there's no chance this will be obsolete by then like HDMI 2.1 already is.
Because your device can not play it it doesn’t mean that someone doesn’t own a screen that is capable of it it’s like someone who owns cheap phone for around 100£ that is not able of playing more than 720p videos saying what’s the point of having 4k videos or even 1080p if he can play them, plus even if there are no devices like this widely spread they could be soon and this is one of the videos that are ready for it, I hope you understood my point on this.

@@milke9254 if there is a video it means there is a device, camera that can record these so it means that if those devices are not available not then that could be in a future, also those types of videos could be used for editing or something I don’t know anything about it cuz it’s not interesting me but it’s it’s there then it’s there, or it could be called 12k just as a lie to get more people for views
@Random Stuff Right-click on the video and select information for sysadmins from the menu. It will indicate the color space. Mine says BT709. As you know, this color space does not support HDR.

There was no upscaling to 12k, or 'converting' involved.. These shots are obviously filmed with 12k cameras.. Maybe Sony Red digital cameras.. 📼 👀
