Knowing the level is super important. I have done countless invasions in Leyndell where I was able to escape or juke the opponents simply because I knew how to jump up on a certain fence, or how to get from one room to another quickly and ambush them.
I something i would also recomed is fp management, especially if you're a melee character. for example, when my enemies are playing pasive you usually have to play kinda like the same, but when there are 3 persons on the enemy team your resources drop slower and slower, and you will end up with nothing. but you can somewhat manage that. something i like to use rn when that happens and more especifically for fp, is when my fp is low i usually stack all the items that increases my mind stat (usually marika's soreceal and grafted blade [which you usually just need 10 FP not 20 FP as the game says to use the buff of the weapon]) before drinking my blue estus, and it gives me 10 mind stat almost for free which for a 10 mind character is a lot, and with that you can cast some body buffs/weapon incantations, use regen items more efficiently or to spam some ashes of war without fear of seein your fp drop that significativaly. just by doing the swaps from 78 max FP it increases to 121 FP, seriosly for a melee character that's a lot.
6:50 Minor thibg if you want to squeeze more regen out of your consumables. Being held by the Three Fingers under Lenydell lets you heal from Frenzied Flame Stones, which heal more than Warming Stones, (35 hp/s for the former, 25hp/s for the latter) adn also cost less. (15 fp for FFStones, 20 fp for Warming) Most people also aren't hosts of the Frenzied Flame, so they wont be able to get any benefit out of your healing source the way they can with Warming Stones, which is an additional (albeit minor) upside to the FFstones. Also Frenzied Flame and Warming Stones healing effect stack, giving you 60 hp/s which is insane for their total fo cost.

Offtop :) Today I started using the PS5 controller on PC. I didn't expect using dpad with my index finger to be such a problem. Very often I find myself pressing two buttons at once when I only press one. Is there a special technique or do I have to spend a lot of time getting used to it again?
Because FS failed to introduce proper farming gameplay loops that would be engaging and respectable towards player's time for both, in Elden Ring and DS3.
@@Steelovsky What if that was by design? So that players didn’t have a hoard of consumables to abuse, or an answer to every problem? I find it hard to agree that the lack of a system you desire justifies cheating for an advantage in a PvP environment.
@@Steelovsky That was a way saltier response than I was expecting. I was speaking generally about farming, that maybe it was an intentional design choice for both PvE and PvP. That some consumable items weren’t meant to be that readily available.
