Hey Doug, catching your Vinyl Tag 2025 entry on my lunch hour. Best line: "I just call it.....Rock!" [insert Def Leppard here]. I think Sally and I are in agreement when it comes to RSD: not a big deal for either of us! I still have my copy of KISS Alive II I got for Xmas in 1977. Greg Rolie - nice call. Perfect reply to the 'politics' question, for sure. I recognize the name David Lindley, but unaware of any solo stuff until you showed it. I'll keep an eye out for him. Van The Man - a perfect album. Great entry! 😎🎶
The thumbnail and your first two picks and I’m with you so far. I used to have the Black Crowes album on CD. That Aerosmith album isn’t my choice but it’s in the top five maybe. Pyromania was among the first ten albums I ever owned. Good idea to pick your home state. That’ll make my choice easier going with my home province. Tommy Bolin! Jeez! I’m really with you here, Doug! I’ll shut up and keep watching. Journey Next is my favourite Journey album! Blackout! Nice pick! Man, we’re bros here!
I've had Tommy Bolan's solo albums on my "to-do-list". I am familiar with a lot of his work with bands and even have just recently found one of his Zephyr albums, but have never heard his solo albums, so I have to check them out. I'm happy to see you show that Journey album "Next", that is such a great album that so many people have ignored over time. Love that Scorpions album too, Arizona is a favorite track for me. I think that was the last album by The Scorpions that I really liked, after that I kind of lost interest as they started to sound too much like 100 other bands. But I'll always love their early stuff. Great pick with Moondance....I never get tired of that one either. Great response to the tag, some really great choices!
Thanks for the big comment! Tommy’s Solo albums are so good I hope you find copies soon. Blackout and Moondance might be in my top 10 albums. At least in my collection
Thanx for the kind words!!! 🎶☮️🎶
miss you doug. glad you did the tag
